  “Wandered into this place just for cocktails and dessert. Ended up having starter, main course and desserts. Lovely friendly staff who were courteous throughout the meal. Sat outside and it was nice with the breeze and sun. Ordered pizza with garlic and tomatoes, pasta, margherita pizza, tiramasu and banofee pie. Everything was brilliant,the stars though were the margherita pizza,the penne alla rusticano, and the banofee pie. Not saying the other food was mediocre, but this selection was outstanding. The staff are very attentive and polite. Definitely can see why this place was busy from 4.30 to 6pm when we were there. There is outisde parking but park on the street as people block the drop down kerb. I did see people park in the opposite pub and wonder over. A gem of a place. Thank you very much for looking after us.”

  “We went today for a family meal and the food was absolutely stunning. Christian and his team couldnt have done enough for us, they were all so friendly and attentive. Made a massive fuss of our children and our kids loved the food too. Sometimes its the little things restaurants do too that make all the difference, they even bought over a baby plate and spoon for my son. No other restaurant has ever done that. The restaurant also has air con too so it was also a lovely escape from the heat for a few hours. We had such a nice time. We will definitely be back soon. Their coffees looked so nice too. I just wanted to share our experience in case anyone is thinking of going, id definitely recommend it.”

  “Delicious food, great service, nice atmosphere. Update: I previously had a great experience here, but this visit was different. One of the waitresses came across as a bit too casual for my liking, and I didn't feel her way of speaking to me was particularly welcoming, the other waitress in the other side, was lovely. The restaurant was almost empty, yet I had to ask to sit at a different than small corner table. Fortunately, it was eventually agreed. I hope this was just a one-off, as I've enjoyed visiting before. The food was okay, big portion, however chicken was dry.”

  “Table of eight here tonight to celebrate what would have been my late Grandad's 71st Birthday. Food was amazing!! Reasonable prices and the staff went above and beyond! I will be back very soon. We all enjoyed our meals, the friendly attentive staff and the atmosphere. You can certainly see why it's always busy! Just an excellent experience. The best meal I've had in a long time. Top drawer 🙏 Loved ever second. I'd give six stars if I could. Wonderful. Dave”

  “We had an absolutely beautiful meal at La Cantina—it was worth every penny and the atmosphere was fantastic. ​We started with the calamari and the mozzarella fritta, both of which were light, crisp, and flavorful. For our mains, we had the carbonara and a delicious rack of lamb; both were cooked to perfection. We finished the night with the banoffee pie and a Freddo Baileys, and honestly, every single bite was delicious. ​Beyond the food, the service was amazing. A special mention to Kiria and Frank, who truly went above and beyond to make our evening special. Their hospitality made a great meal even better. We can’t wait to return!”

  “One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a long long time. My wife and I are here in Chester for a weekend away (without the kids!!) and so we really wanted a good experience, so I’m very glad we booked a table here because we definitely got it. Food was superb (porchetta pizza and rigatoni gallo), the staff were really attentive, professional and kind, the music was good, atmosphere was buzzing and the decor was really impressive. Plus the price was very reasonable and we got a complimentary limoncello at the end. Will definitely visit again. Top marks.”

  “My amazing fiancé & I enjoyed an amazing dinner out to celebrate our engagement back in August. The food was incredible, brilliant atmosphere and lovely staff. We’d absolutely recommend and go again. For starters I had: Cozze- Mussels, onions, garlic, lemon, rosemary and white wine sauce. And for main, I had: Tranci di Salmone alla Griglia- Grilled salmon served with broccoli, black olives, pine nuts and pesto. Amazing fiancé had banoffee pie and we each had martinis. It was a wonderful night with delicious food.”
