Customer Review Summary
Bruschetta draws the most praise, either as a trio alongside calamari and carpaccio or topped with burrata and nduja, and the seafood linguine is named nearly as often. Others single out a sausage ragu, a honey beef rib starter and a 10oz ribeye called one of the best steaks a diner has had. Cocktails such as a Lychee Martini and a Moscow Mule earn strong marks. Reviewers describe the food as fresh and full of flavour, the room as bright and spotlessly clean, with a table by the open kitchen and a live DJ adding to the mood. Service is called attentive and never rushed, including for a party of 17 whose food arrived together. Criticism is minor: one reviewer wanted sourdough instead of white bread with a wild mushroom breakfast dish, and another noted sound issues on Valentine's Day. One birthday diner was brought a plate of ice cream and sung to.

“I came here to have a meal with my relatives who were down from South Africa (Table of 6) The food was full of flavor, beautifully presented and was devine!! 😋. What made the meal truly unforgettable, however, was the impeccable service. The staff was remarkably attentive, anticipating every need and caring towards us, which made us all feel genuinely welcomed.”

“Ordered from too-good-to-go. Got 3 pastries for £3.99. One croissant twist with Dubai style cream, one hazelnut cream bun with icing sugar, and a chocolate hazelnut croissant. Has to be the biggest croissant I’ve ever seen. All 3 were delicious. I’m sure the hot food would be as well. Staff were very nice and friendly.”

“We found this restaurant by chance whilst visiting Liverpool for a sporting event. Due its location being close to our hotel. Its frontage was appealing and acted as a feature to draw us in, which it did. On entering we were able to get a table without a prior reservation and were quckly shown to our table, which was next to the open kitchen area. This meant we were able to watch the chefs at work from close range which was fun. The service was very good and the food and drink flowed seamlessly over the next hour or more. Two stand out dishes were the Bruschetta with Burrata and Nduja and the Lingine Marinara. Both delicious...... The surroundings are bright , fresh and spotlessly clean. This was a great find by pure chance.”

“Went here for a business meeting the other day and the staff were extremely attentive and polite and well dressed/presented. Excellent quality of food and for a town centre and very lovely elegant place it was fairly priced, the coffee was also beautiful! Special thank you to Scott who works there who really stood out for us 💪”

“Had such a great night at Botanico on Duke Street. The food was incredibly fresh and full of flavour you can really tell everything’s prepared authentically. The cocktails were amazing too, easily some of the best I’ve had in town. The decor is absolutely stunning and creates such a good vibe, especially with the live DJ playing. The whole atmosphere just feels special. Can’t wait to go back.”
