Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often come for the chicken curry with egg fried rice, usually as a quick takeaway that arrives hot and fast, with one reporting an order ready in five minutes. Close behind is value: diners describe large portions with a lot of meat, and salt and pepper king prawns, a veggie stir fry and vegetable spring rolls that a toddler enjoyed. Several mention free prawn crackers, and one says staff did not charge for the curry sauce they asked for. Staff are widely called friendly and the room clean and tidy, with one noting a seaside view. Criticisms of the food are small: bland curry fried rice, prawns that could have been crisper, rice portions that could be more generous, and big pieces of ginger in the hot and spicy soup. One reviewer, however, reports that staff treated people of colour with a poor attitude, saying a young staff member with piercings ignored them several times while serving two other groups first, and that a companion had the same experience. Others describe the service as quick and polite, and one says a meal for two with two drinks was a fair price.

“Staff members have an unacceptable attitude towards people of colour, spoke to my other guy he had the same service. Today the young guy with piercings ignored me several times and helped two other groups in front of me. worse place in Edinburgh I have visited, my family was shocked with kids tired of waiting. Those people are so full of themselves in that restaurant. This is my experience on the 06/06/2026 so pathetic and negative atmosphere…you people of colour stay away from there. There’s Nando’s above them with the best rice and chicken I reckon ! Editing to add this: what is happening in Americas with Asian anti Blackness is the same thing am seeing here in this shop (Viewpoint on the 27/06/2026).”

“Amazing 🥳 friendly quick service. Food options are great and the food is in nice portions and flavoursome. Hidden in the shopping centre you might miss it, but definitely the only place I’d go to eat in . High praise from me, I will be back”

“Great Food, Definitely the best Chinese Restaurant for value on food , Highly Recommend here if you want a lively Chinese meal and it’s not to expensive anything but actually it’s fairly priced and I had a meal with someone and 2 drinks and was only £17 that’s perfect. Service was pleasant and friendly and didn’t wait long either.”
