About Teuchters Landing
Teuchters Landing is a freehouse pub on Dock Pl in Leith, Edinburgh, with a floating pontoon and bridge seating right on the water. Behind the bar sit 250 malts and 22 beers on tap, alongside five cask ales and a local beer from a nearby brewery. The kitchen serves Scottish food, including Cullen skink, fish and chips, and burgers with haggis as an add-on. A carnivore breakfast with haggis and a veggie breakfast are also on the menu. Orders go through the bar or by QR code from the table. Rugby and other big sporting events show on screens, and a mural of Scottish legends covers the walls. Dogs are allowed throughout. The pub takes no bookings and seats on a first come, first served basis. Visit Scotland named it pub of the year in 2018.

Customer Review Summary
Burgers draw the most praise, with reviewers singling out the beef and a haggis version served with proper chips. Close behind are the fish and chips, Cullen skink, fish plate and Scotch stew, along with breakfasts, where one diner loved a veggie plate and another a carnivore plate with haggis, and bloody Marys described as perfect. Diners also mention the whisky list of 100+, including the "Leith flight", and local beer from the brewery down the road. The waterside setting, the terrace, the cosy interior and friendly staff come up often, and one reviewer says food reaches the table very fast. The recurring complaint is upkeep and ordering. Two reviewers found the tabletops sticky, and another says drinks were dropped off without a glance. One found the online ordering down, leaving a slow line at the counter. One diner says that after asking for the table to be cleaned, it got only a wipe that changed nothing.

“My group of four friends truly enjoyed our time at Teutcher’s Landing. We loved experiencing both the terrace and the cosy interior, each with its own great atmosphere. The staff were fantastic, and the service was excellent throughout our visit. Great drinks, a brilliant setting, and a genuinely welcoming vibe. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it!”

“Always a great spot to visit when in Leith, for a drink to watch sport, to sit outside when the sun shines or for the epic food. Been so many times and never dropped a review but the last visit the food was particularly amazing so reminded me to share. Great gor locals but also tourists as there is many fun things to see on the walls including the fun mural featuring Scottish legends. Great selection of local beers to 🍻”

“Food was incredible, bloody’s were perfect and we only made it for breakfast so one can only imagine how good dinner would be 🤤. Friendly, welcoming staff and a comfortable, unique atmosphere. So glad we stayed in Leith as it has some of the best restaurants. Definitely high on our list when we return to Edinburgh, and in the mean time, I’ll keep dreaming of this breakfast…”

“I mean, how to describe "perfection"? I just can't. Since I discovered walking around the shore I became the typical annoying customer having my pints at least twice a week. Bringing my friends, laughing, eating and enjoying my books in a perfect Scottish atmosphere. Their burgers and snacks (only thing I have tried for now) are amazing; their variety of wines, whiskies and beers match the anyone's necessity and the team is so nice, open an warm so... Looking forward to be back again!”

“By recommendation from a friend and former resident of Edinburgh, we stopped in at Teuchters Landing in Leith, and it was awesome! Laid back vibes along the water with great local beer from the brewery down the road. Great burgers with an extra Scottish flair of haggis with some proper chips.”
