About Brunswick Book Club
Brunswick Book Club is a bar at 113 Brunswick St in Edinburgh, where the menus are embedded in old books as part of the decor, so reading the menu means opening a book. The breakfast menu includes eggs Benedict, and waffles and smoothies sit alongside it. Sweet potato fries come as a side for the savoury plates. Italian coffee and lattes are on the drinks list next to the bar. The team also puts on live music.

Customer Review Summary
Breakfast is the main draw at Brunswick Book Club, with reviewers repeatedly praising the eggs benedict, breakfast tacos, and a pistachio crescent described as flaky and rich. Close behind are the haggis spring rolls, sweet potato fries, onion rings, and a Banoffee dessert one diner calls to die for. Kids liked the smoothies and waffles, and adults mention the Italian coffee, latte, beer, and a recommended Sauvignon. Several describe the staff as friendly and kind, with the bartender and waiters singled out, and one enjoyed the live music. Reviewers also like the decor, especially menus embedded in old books. Complaints are small: one found the eggs benedict a bit plain, another disliked the chicken wing sauce, and the outdoor seating can be noisy next to the street. One diner's evening was spoiled when a dog placed on a table barked loudly beside them for over an hour. Several say they returned for a second or third meal during their stay, and one mentions a taco Tuesday with margaritas.

“Connor gave us the best service we’ve had for our whole trip. We were big fans of the recommended Sauvignon wine and the food was great! Also great live music by The Citizens! Thank you for making our last night 💜”

“The staff is fun and friendly. They were not only attentive but took time to chat with us. The food was amazing and we went there twice while in town. With so so many eateries to choose from, returning to a place a second time speaks volumes! If we lived here, this would definitely be one of our regular places to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner! Don’t miss their Banoffee dessert! It’s to die for! The beer is great, too! Great bar tender!”

“We discovered this absolute gem on a recent trip to Edinburgh. On the first day we popped in for a drink and ended up trying the haggis spring rolls, which were delicious. We returned on the next two days for breakfast and were not disappointed! The kids really liked the smoothies and waffles (as well as the playlist), whilst the adults enjoyed a good Italian coffee and various other breakfast foods. On all three visits the staff and service were excellent and the food/drink exceptional.”

“We were here for breakfast and dinner. Both experiences were awesome. The food is absolutely amazing. Also the service is. The waiter and waitress are very polite and funny. I definitely recommend the eggs benedict for breakfast. The atmosphere is nice. When you are outside it could be a little noisy, but i guess it is normal next to the street.”
