  “Exceptional food as always with very friendly staff. Fast service and very helpful. Really recommend the Fragrant chicken, refreshing fungus and Dry slow cooked sea bass. Our server Zayn was very nice to me and my family and even asked for our opinions on his playlist.”

  “Amazing service and food was just what I was feeling. Their sweet and sour was just perfect. The balance of flavours with the crispness of the chicken was on point. I also ordered their black bean beef dish which was the star of the meal. Highly recommend and decently priced”

  “On 25th May, my partner took me to Panda Restaurant to celebrate our first anniversary. Having read the reviews and seen the restaurant's 5-star rating, we were looking forward to a special and memorable evening. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from start to finish. After being shown to our table, we were left waiting for around 20 minutes without anyone coming to take a drinks order. Eventually, we had to ask ourselves. What made this even more frustrating was that a party seated at a reserved table behind us arrived after we did, yet they were greeted and served almost immediately, giving the impression that they were receiving preferential treatment. We also had to ask for cutlery. While this wasn't a major issue in itself, we had to request a knife twice. The waitress appeared not to be listening and left my partner with only a fork and spoon. Throughout the evening, it felt as though our requests were being overlooked. For starters, we ordered the butterfly prawns and ribs. Both dishes were very enjoyable and were undoubtedly the highlight of the meal. However, once we had finished, we were asked whether we wanted clean plates. In our view, fresh plates should have been provided automatically before the main course. For our mains, we ordered crispy chilli beef, pork strips and chicken noodles. The pork strips were not what we expected and looked almost identical to the crispy chilli beef, making the dishes difficult to distinguish and leaving us disappointed. What stood out most during our visit was the lack of customer service. At no point did a member of staff come to check whether our food was satisfactory or ask if we needed anything. We felt largely ignored throughout the entire meal. To add to the disappointment, the air conditioning unit above us was leaking, with water dripping onto the empty table beside us and splashing nearby. By this stage, we simply wanted to finish our meal and leave. The evening ended on an equally disappointing note. When I went to pay the bill, I declined to pay the service charge as I did not feel the level of service we received justified it. Rather than listening to my concerns, I was met with what I felt was a dismissive and confrontational attitude. I also asked to speak with the manager to explain why I was unhappy, but this did little to resolve the situation. We had wanted to try Panda Restaurant for some time, having passed it on several occasions and thought it looked inviting. It was especially disappointing that our first anniversary meal was overshadowed by poor service, lack of attention and an overall feeling that our custom was not valued. While the starters were enjoyable, the overall experience fell well below the standard we had expected based on the restaurant's reputation and reviews. Sadly, this is not somewhere we will be returning to, nor is it somewhere we would feel comfortable recommending to others. Judging by the positive reviews, many customers have clearly had a much better experience than we did. Unfortunately, that was not the case for us.”

  “After enjoying a wonderfully chilled rosé wine one evening, I found myself craving Chinese food and decided to try this place for the very first time — and what an excellent decision that turned out to be. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken alongside the fried noodles with beef, and from the first mouthful it was obvious this was far above the standard takeaway experience. The chicken was beautifully coated in a light, crisp batter that retained its crunch whilst remaining incredibly tender and succulent inside. The accompanying vegetables tasted genuinely fresh, adding both texture and vibrancy, all brought together by a perfectly balanced sweet and sour sauce that was rich, glossy, and full of flavour without being overly sugary or artificial. The fried beef noodles were equally impressive. The noodles themselves had that perfect slightly smoky wok-fried character, whilst the beef was cut into generous, delicate slices that were cooked beautifully and packed with flavour. The sauce carried a gentle warmth of spice that elevated the entire dish without overpowering it, making every bite deeply satisfying. Portion sizes were extremely generous, but what truly stood out was the overall quality of the food. This was not the usual bland, greasy takeaway fare that has unfortunately become so commonplace. Instead, it felt much closer to a well-executed restaurant-quality meal - fresh, carefully prepared, and full of authentic flavour. They also kindly provided a packet of a crunchy snack free of charge! A genuinely enjoyable surprise and somewhere I would happily order from again.”

  “If I could give it beyond the 5 stars, I would! Food - Loved the mala stir fry. While it is a sichuan dish, it took us back to Singapore where we always had it. The Char kway teow and dumplings were delicious as well. Service - The staff were all friendly and the services was great as well. Definitely coming back again!”

  “Very nice place with delicious food. We had a lovely Valentines dinner. It was quite busy hence service was a bit slow, but overall everything was fine. We enjoyed our time here and will definitely come back to try more Chinese food.”

  “Really nice experience at Pandas Kitchen. The food was great and came out super fast, but the service honestly made it — the person serving us was so friendly and welcoming. We had the Gong Bao chicken and noodles and both were top quality. Everything was quick, easy, and just really nice overall. Would happily go back.”
