About BRIX Coffee Co

BRIX Coffee Co is a coffee shop in Doncaster, at 6 Station Retail Park. The kitchen runs a small breakfast and brunch menu built around the Brix Bruffin, a breakfast sandwich with sausage, poached egg and bacon. Pancakes come in several versions, including Biscoff and maple & bacon, so the menu covers both sweet and savoury orders. On the coffee side, the flat white can be made with oat milk, and decaf is available for those who want it. Dogs are welcome, which suits anyone stopping in with a pet. An evening menu is put on for special events.

Customer Review Summary

Pancakes are the most repeated draw at BRIX, with reviewers praising the Biscoff and the maple and bacon versions, while others single out the eggs benedict with smoked salmon, the Brix Bruffin with sausage, poached egg and bacon, and halloumi or sausage breakfast brioche. Coffee comes close behind, from an oat milk flat white to a frothy cappuccino and latte, plus a very good espresso. Many describe friendly, welcoming staff and a busy room. The main criticism is that one returning visitor found the food had slipped since opening, calling the hash brown stack freezer bought and saying the constant blender noise was loud, and noting that some staff seemed rushed. Two others had small gripes about food texture: sourdough that was hard to cut and bacon too well cooked to slice. One reviewer also noted there was no Pepsi Max, though diet coke was served, and that detail closes out a mostly enthusiastic set of visits.

“It’s the first time I visit in over a year, the quality of food/meals has gone down significantly since it opened. Hash brown stack was freezer bought food, nothing unique or fresh how it used to be. Also the noise of their blender going all the time is so loud and disturbing. Female staff seemed rushed and in a bad mood, the guy was super welcoming and kind.”
