Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often return to the coffee, with one describing a pour-over that played blackberry against vanilla and citrus notes, and others calling the coffee excellent or superb. Close behind is the friendly staff, who several say seem to know the regulars. The drink menu gets praise for its range, including alternative milks and a chai latte enjoyed by a non-coffee drinker, and the cinnamon swirl is described as bigger than a hand. Cake and pastries are also liked, though one reviewer wished for vegan pastries. Prices are called fair, and the atmosphere is described as chilled, cozy and welcoming, with chargers at the seats including a USB option. The main complaints are practical. Two reviewers found the toilet poor, one saying it was not great after a long car journey, and another notes there is no WiFi and the layout suits a catch-up meeting better than serious work. One reviewer describes stepping in on a low day and leaving with a coffee and pastry.

“Stumbled across this little delight when feeling at a very low ebb. Treated myself to rhe most lovely coffee and pastry. Customers wandered in, all seemed to know eachother, the staff knew everyone. Friendly staff, fab music, chilled, happy atmosphere. All in all, a proper hidden gem!!!!”

“Superb coffee. Experienced one of the pour-overs. Clean. There was blackberry playing off against vanilla and citrus notes. One area for improvement was the toilet – not as impressed.”
- Andrea Williamson
“A nice modern style coffee shop. I was happy it had alternative milks (eg soy, almond, oat) but a little disappointed it didn't have any vegan pastries. The other cakes and flapjacks looked really tasty. The washroom facilities exist but are poor. Not great after a long car journey.”
