Customer Review Summary
Bacon rolls and bacon sandwiches are the main draw, with several reviewers praising a morning deal that pairs one with a hot drink. Close behind are the other sandwiches, including a chicken tikka with yoghurt mint sauce and a freshly made cheese salad, which one reviewer calls the best sandwich in a long time. The cappuccino gets credit for being rich and smooth with a sprinkle on top, and the cakes also come up, among them a jam and coconut sponge and an orange and chocolate cake that won over someone who usually dislikes that combination. Reviewers repeatedly describe the prices as reasonable. Many are hospital visitors or staff, and they call the shop an oasis between appointments. The women serving are described as friendly, chatty and cheerful, with one reviewer noting they remember names and orders. One visitor waiting with a relative at A&E arrived as the shutters were half down and still had two sandwiches made.

“At last, coffee at sensible prices. Bacon sarnie and a hot drink for £3.50, what a bargain.”

“I bought a box of lovely cakes today. As usual, the price is incomparable. They were so yummy. I usually don’t like the orange/chocolate combination but this one is so yummy. My husband loved the kinder. And again, the ladies are super nice. The cake was packed in a box that has keeps them intact. I went all the way, standing in the bus and train to Scunthorpe and my cakes were still intact. Thank you to everyone brew box crew”

“The staff at the brew box are absolute stars....called by yesterday whilst I was with a relative at A&E. Although they were closing, with the shutters being half down, they still found time to prepare me two sandwiches. Friendly, chatty, and good value food. Top marks. Thanks,”
