  “Came here with my son on a Wednesday and they had a deal on which is a wrap and a soft drink for £6.95 or £10 with a lager. Worth every single penny. I had to take half of it home because the portions were big. We spoke to a chap called Lee he was so lovely. He also explained fully about the bottomless brunch. I will be going. All the staff were lovely. Shout out to the chefs too.”

  “David and Mary were fabulous! Great Bottomless Brunch! Food was lovely such a good choice and freshly made. Cocktails were proper not already made - lovely atmosphere. It was a surprise birthday celebration and the table was dressed free of charge Can't wait to come back ♥️♥️”

  “This place does not live up its high class name. Mayfair should be called welfare! This picture is what I left of my order. The chips are deep fried and really greasy. The wrap takes like pre cooked bagged meat. Do your self a favour and buy it from Iceland do it your self instead of paying these to do it for you.”

  “Visited Saturday evening after a cinema trip with my kids. Waited 30 minutes to be able to order, 50 minutes for food for half the items to be missing, when asked where the missing items were they then replied we ran out sorry. Chicken burger not even edible, rock solid and looks like something you’d feed an animal. I had the steak wrap, again half the items missing, tried to make up for it by giving me a plate full of greasy fries. Wrap was full of mayo and 3 tiny strips of chewy cold steak. Plus side, kids had pizza and they were freshly cooked and homemade. Won’t ever visit again. Full of young teens in the kitchen, maybe look at staff and hire more experienced older chefs. No refund or compensation offered either.”

  “Had an amazing time at the soft launch of the bottomless brunch at Mayfair in Doncaster! The food was absolutely delicious, and the cocktails—both alcoholic and non-alcoholic—were beautifully made. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. I’ve already recommended it to friends and I’m planning to come back soon with a group. Huge well done to everyone involved!”

  “For anyone looking for a venue in Doncaster to have a private function, The Mayfair is perfect. After speaking to management staff, my partner and I were able to reserve the upstairs function space for our joint hen and stag party. We were also able to pre-order cocktail trees and beer buckets, and drop off a banner and other party decorations in advance, which were all ready in the room when we arrived. The staff were lovely, very accommodating and enjoyed our wacky fancy dress very much. Highly recommend!”

  “I visited Mayfair for the first time with my friend. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t fully meet my expectations. We ordered two cocktails, and while waiting for our food, we stepped outside for a smoke, leaving one of the drinks and napkins on the table. During that time, someone else was seated at our table. A waiter came out to confirm whether it was ours, and I told him yes. He mentioned offering us another table, but we didn’t receive a replacement drink, which I didn’t find very fair — even for a pub. We both ordered the Philly Steak Flatbread. It was okay, but not as good as we expected. I was hoping for more flavor, and the menu overall felt quite limited. On the positive side, the interior looks very nice and has a good atmosphere. I might give it another try in the future and see if my impression changes.”
