  “Bar service is defined as ,....... professional prep, pouring, and serving of beverages to the public, and includes the customer experiance from welcoming to taking orders and payments. the service here is dreadful, from staff who are surly and obviously only there because its a wage, maybe having never learned to smile they persistantly ignore waiting customers because the poor lambs get busy ! page one of the barmaids training manual should explain wages of course come from the punters, generally the bar is ok as bars go, but thats about it. Since the demise of proper pubs this is what we have to deal with suck it up people ! or you could demand better service, after all it is a service industry now theresa laugh in itself.”

  “Like it here, good atmosphere, but the DJ on a Saturday night! Oh god, he's annoying, sings along to the songs, cuts them short, last night will be our last time in there I'm afraid 👎”

  “Can't give you 5⭐cos you'd expect it all the time. Visited this venue on Friday & Saturday race day and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Music and service spot on. Will be back next time I'm in the area. Didn't eat so can't rate the food.”

  “This pub has improved 👌 loads since I last went in couple of years ago. It was always busy but quiet pub , loads better now they got a D.J an a dance floor. Excellent place to go to let your hair down. Especially when you drop £70 on bandit winner winner no more chicken dinners. Lol”

  “Outstanding bar! Sports, music, fruit machines and a pool table.. plenty of seating inside and out (front and back) Lovely out back when its sunny. The owner knows what he's doing here!! Excellent.”

  “I had a medium beef and pork Sunday dinner. The food was very nice and the portion size was just right for me. A large would require a big appetite! The service was excellent, our waitress Nicky was very attentive and friendly.”

  “I was attracted by the sign outside saying John Smiths 2 Pounds a pint before 7pm`. Worth a try... I had to check in via the NHSapp. I was then taken to a table in the beer garden and I ordered a pint and gave her the money. The pint arrived shortly. There is free wifi but it doesn't reach the beer garden. Nice beer garden. Some tables have parasols. Friendly service”
