“I'm the pirate guy that goes in from time to time, very friendly place, pints are a bit on the costly side for Doncaster, but the atmosphere is usually worth it. A pool table is available, and they have a "beat the boss" challenge hosted by my good friend Douggie at the time of writing. (19/02/25) They don't serve food, but they are not opposed to you getting takeaway from the nearby places The DJ plays to the crowd that's in, be it hard rock, charts, 80s cheese or dance. Staff are great, and the staff and punters do a good job of dealing with troublemakers. Great pub if you do fancy a night out, but don't fancy dealing with the nightclub riffraff.”
