“Good sized portions of large cod and chips . Bit on the expensive side compared to others as £13 for cod. Food was hot and tasty. One of the better ones we've tried in Derby but Oakwood still the winner 🏆.”

“Went into Shelton Lock chip shop at 12:15 today but a bag of chips well I thought they were chips but they really were scraps and The chips were extremely greasy. Didn’t taste right at all. This chip shop used to be a really good chip shop. I would drive right across Derby to come to the chip shop but unfortunately the last two times I’ve been there I’ve had bad food so I won’t be going back again.”

“We visit a relative in Stenson about every 6 weeks. Over the last few years we have tried just about all Fish and Chips in the area and this place has become one of our reliable goto take aways. Always good quality, decent portions and a reasonable price. Hope it stays this way. 😊”
