  “Went to this restaurant to celebrate my cousins birthday. And honestly it was the best experience. The food was lovely the atmosphere was amazing and the cocktails (876 Zombie) was beautiful. The owner personally made matching mocktails for the children. Soon as we sat down we was greeted with polite and caring staff who promptly took our order and answered any questions regarding the menu. The gentleman serving us also went out his way to provide us with a cake from across the road to sing happy birthday. I will definitely be returning in the near future. Thank you 876 Uptown…”

  “We ordered salted squid for starters, absolutely delicious and the dip was out of this world. For mains, we ordered Curry goat and Oxtail.. WoW!! It's was so tender and tasty. Fall off the bone meat. Service was impeccable, music was good.. Non-alcoholic cocktails were delish. Highly recommended. 5 *”

  “Came here for a 40th birthday dinner. In total, there were 12 of us (6 adults, 5 kids and a baby). Really good atmosphere. Staff were really friendly and really helpful. The music was great. We ordered a mixture of foods, fish, jerk chicken, oxtail - All excellent. The service was excellent as well. Would definitely recommend.”

  “Went for Valentine’s Day & was not disappointed. The food 10/10, oxtail was absolutely delicious. Had starters too and recommend the salt & pepper squid, the sauce is made by the chef. Took home a slice of red velvet & the choc cake which both tasted amazing. The decor, seating & music gives the restaurant a relaxing & comfortable ambiance. Will definitely be back. Thank you to the staff for a great & hospitable experience.”

  “My family and I travelled from Essex to 876 Uptown, and I have to say the service was excellent. We enjoyed the 2-for-1 cocktails, which were amazing — full of flavour with a generous amount of alcohol. The staff checked on us while we were waiting for both our starters and main course, which was really appreciated. The music was a great vibe, and the food arrived in good time. I ordered the curry chicken, which had a nice spicy kick and was packed with flavour. The portion sizes were good too, and we even had the option to take leftovers home. Overall, a really enjoyable experience!”

  “I visited on Saturday 7th February with my family, and everything was amazing. The food was delicious and arrived quickly, and the drinks were just as good. The atmosphere was great, with really good music playing throughout our visit. The portion sizes were huge — so generous that we had enough left over for dinner the next day. Overall, a fantastic experience.”

  “Definitely recommend this Caribbean place with the new management! The food was delicious, lovely staff, great music and cosy vibe. I had the oxtail with white rice and some jerk chicken as well as a fried dumpling. All tasted amazing. Will be back!!”

  “One of the rare Jamaican in the busy Croydon South End restaurant scene. The decor is quite nice and classy, with a nice bar selection and cool music. The food was a bit average though, flavour for the jerk chicken was good, but portion small and the rest a bit bland. By diner time at 8pm they also didn’t have much left available from the menu. Overall still a solid local choice.”

  “I really just needed some warm, spicy heart felt soup as it’s -1 outside and after a long day you just need some healthy soul food! I ordered chicken soup and curry chicken…the portions are a good of size, very tasty soup with garnish of my fav - spring onions and chillies! Exceeded my expectations and really felt a good evening vibe to sit quietly and eat some food! Ive travelled to Jamaica and know good food so I say these words in good faith :-) Thank you”
