“Tried to book a table for the four of us but we're full so ordered the take away instead. Told it would only take 15 minutes should have told us how bad it was. Two of us had the massaman curries also sweet and sour for one and green Thai for another plus starters such as tempura prawns and spring rolls. Went to pick it up from the campsite and got to the caravan and found out the green Thai was missing so drove back again. The tempura prawns were soggy. The massaman and green Thai curries were extremely watery with no flavour whatsoever with whole boiled tinned potatoes floating round a thin sauce with lumps of flavourless chicken and no veg at all. Absolute letdown and my wife threw her sweet and sour away rather than eat it. Spring rolls had the most flavour. Would never have anything from this place again”

“Sweet and sour prawns were awful; no batter just a slimy, glutinous coating which I had to scrap off. Raw onions, carrot, chunks of cucumber, pineapple and a couple of whole plum tomatoes. No sauce! Very disappointing.”

“Really impressed with our meal - some of the best Thai we’ve had (in the UK and in Thailand). Very authentic, great/speedy service. The staff were really helpful and welcoming. The penang curry (my go to order for Thai) - this was excellent. Great flavour, nice bit of source but not too much. Also ordered a beef masamum - excellent flavour and the meat was melt in the mouth and flavourful. Also really enjoyed the spring rolls and pad Thai that we ordered. We’ll be back when we’re next in the area! We had a takeaway and took it down to the beachfront. Perfect!!”

“Third visit here. The food is excellent and good value for money. We had the mixed starter, sweet and sour chicken and a beef in oyster sauce stir fry with rice.”

Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often praise the curries, with green curry, penang, and massaman singled out for flavour, and one describing the beef massaman as melt in the mouth. Satay skewers, dumplings, and the mixed starter come close behind, along with spring rolls and pad Thai. Diners describe friendly, quick service even when busy, generous portions, and good value, and several mention vegetarian options. Holidaymakers like that dogs are welcome inside and that the takeaway travels well to a caravan or the beachfront. Two reviewers report poor experiences. One says the takeaway massaman and green Thai curries were watery and flavourless with whole boiled potatoes and no vegetables, the tempura prawns were soggy, and one curry was missing from the bag. Another describes sweet and sour prawns with a slimy coating instead of batter and no sauce. One repeat visitor returned two nights later for stir fried chicken with ginger and spicy noodles.
