Customer Review Summary

Biryani anchors the praise, with reviewers naming Kalyana Biryani and Ambur chicken biriyani, followed by dosas, kappa and meen curry, fluffy parotta and tea. Staff are friendly. Complaints are concrete: a long wait ended with news that one dish was unavailable, chicken chukka was not up to the mark, and a passion fruit mojito arrived warm, with the cooler blamed. The manager apologised for the delay.

“Travelled quite a distance to visit the restaurant. Nicely decorated and well maintained. However, the food experience wasn’t as pleasant. After waiting for nearly 50 mins we were told one of the dishes wasn’t available. The dishes came out one after the other after the long wait. The manager did address the delay and apologised at the end. The ambience can be better with the background music being a little more intense while the phone notifications connected to the player just adds to the noise.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Best Kerala Restaurant in Coventry! 🇮🇳❤️ Kerala Cafe is undoubtedly one of the best places in Coventry to experience authentic, traditional Kerala cuisine. The restaurant offers an excellent variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, with something to suit every taste. My personal favourites are the Kalyana Biryani, Maharaja Kizhi and the fantastic variety of dosas — each offering a wonderful taste of Kerala's rich culinary heritage. The flavours, quality and authenticity of the food make every visit a delightful experience. What makes this place even more special is the warm hospitality, friendly staff and welcoming ambience. The comfortable atmosphere makes you feel right at home, creating a truly enjoyable dining experience. I would highly recommend Kerala Cafe to anyone who loves authentic Kerala cuisine and delicious Indian food. Whether you're craving traditional Kerala specialities or simply looking for a fantastic Indian restaurant in Coventry, this place is well worth a visit! A little taste of Kerala, right here in Coventry! 🌴🍛❤️”
