Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the coffee, with iced coffees singled out as refreshing, and the friendly owners and staff who come up in nearly every review. Close behind are the sandwiches, where one reviewer calls the Tandoori Chicken banging, and the display of pastries, cakes and other bakery treats. Several mention vegan and gluten free options and support for local traders. Dogs are welcome, and many reviewers point to that, with one noting that visiting dogs have their picture put up on the wall. Service is described as quick even when the place is busy, and food is called reasonably priced. The one clear complaint comes from a reviewer who ordered a breakfast that looked nice but arrived with dry, hard, chewy bacon, no option for non smoked bacon, and poached eggs that were rock hard despite a request for runny. A few reviewers say they stopped in on the way to the airport or travelled from Birmingham, and one had to stop themselves from buying more than two pastries.
