About Nexus Café by Eatwise (formerly NAIC Café)
Nexus Café by Eatwise, formerly NAIC Café, is a cafe in Coventry on the Ground Floor, set inside a campus that students and staff share. It serves Starbucks coffee throughout the day. Breakfast runs until 12pm, and lunch follows until 2pm. The food menu includes burgers alongside other hot and cold dishes, and cake is available with coffee. Orders are placed at the counter, and the cafe fills up at lunchtimes, so the quieter stretch falls around the morning breakfast service.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the food and the campus workspace feel, with fresh hot meals and burgers named alongside coffee. Several describe delicious food in decent portions and a good selection of hot and cold dishes, served by friendly staff, including the ladies behind the counter who greet regulars with a smile. The interior is repeatedly described as spacious and warm, with plug points and ample table space that suit working on a laptop over a cup of coffee, though one notes it can get noisy and another says it gets packed at lunch. Coffee draws mixed views. One reviewer calls it really nice, while another advises it only for Starbucks lovers, and a third describes a frappuccino made of ice, milk and water that tasted of nothing, even after staff said shots were added. Other complaints name rice served badly cooked, a repetitive menu of burgers, chips and chicken bowls, and cold dishes that turned tasteless after a supplier change, although the hot food is said to have improved. One reviewer says the quality justifies the price.

“Frequent this cafe when at work. It serves really nice coffee and I have had nice food when visiting for lunch. Staff are friendly and polite. Prices are pretty standard for coffee but it's not expensive.”

“They have absolutely no idea how to cook rice. Use a damn rice cooker! Also they serve the same items every week, and the menu just includes burgers and chips or some chicken thrown into a bowl served with some horrible rice, super boring and disgusting.”

“Great quality food and a price to reflect it but I'd say it is worth it. Enough to fill you up and tastes amazing.”

“As always, I come here every Friday to enjoy the delicious freshly cooked food. Always with decent portion sizes, and welcomed with a smile from the ladies behind the counter. Definitely a place to relax and rewind while doing some work on the computer.”
