Customer Review Summary
The main complaint is noise. In a small room with hard walls, one diner found it deafening even half full and could not hear across the table, and another also mentioned the noise indoors. Food criticism is scattered: dry pancakes with no margarine, vegan sausages likened to wet paper, and a tomato that seemed more like a cooking or salad tomato with plain beans. One visitor was unable to sit inside on a cold, windy first attempt and returned with a reservation, then sat inside.

“Love the mini breakfast it is just enough for me. They offer tinned tomatoes which is so nice as not many do. The staff are lovely. The scramble eggs are real eggs with some herbs and cooked in a pan rather than microwave. Coffee and tea are spot on. One of our favourite places in Cov.”

“Had breakfast. The food and the coffee were excellent. Service, great. Only drawback for me was the noise.small unit hard to hear. If the weather had been better we could have sat outside. Overall would recommend. All welcome.”

“Fantastic breakfast. Only issue was the tomato wasn't nice (more of a cooking or salad tomato) and beans were plain. But this is tiny details. Was a fantastic scenic brunch. Thank you guys”

“Honestly a bit disappointed after all the buildup it's gotten in the reviews. We couldn't sit inside the first time we came by, and it was cold and windy outside. We made reservations for another day and sat inside. It's a small room, with nothing to dampen echos or absorb sound. Four hard walls, mirrors, windows, tables, floor, ceiling, and even only half full it was deafening. I have a paralysed vocal cord so I can't speak extra loud, but normally it's fine. We couldn't hear each other across the corner of the table without leaning in. Some rugs, tapestries, and curtains would probably help a lot with the volume. I don't know how the people who work there take it all day. We both had pancakes, which were good, but rather dry. No margarine or anything. Just the toppings. Chips were nice. The vegan sausages were awful. Like wet paper in both internal consistency and flavor. We've had some really good vegan sausages elsewhere, so I don't know what kind they use that are that bland. Not huge fans, I'm sorry to say, and I'm pretty forgiving if you look at my other reviews.”
