About Kitchen 126
Kitchen 126 is a family-run cafe on Southbank Rd in Coventry, built around brunch. The business began in 2020 from a small caravan on the owners' drive, then called "caravan at the cottage", and moved to its current site in 2022. The name reflects the owners' aim of looking after guests as if they were in their own kitchen. The brunch and breakfast menu leans toward unusual dishes, including the Next Level Shakshuka, with coffee and drink specials alongside. Seating is at the back and upstairs, and dogs are welcome. Tables are booked by email.

Customer Review Summary
The shakshuka draws the most attention, with one reviewer calling the Next Level Shakshuka the best they have had and another praising a great, filling portion. Close behind are the Persian eggs with fresh mint, yoghurt and sourdough, plus the sweet french toast and posh mushroom, which one pair found delicious in every bite. Reviewers describe a menu of unusual dishes, very nicely unusual in one reviewer's words, and several rate the coffee as very good, one among the best in a long while. Staff are repeatedly called friendly. Parents mention plenty of high chairs, and one dog owner felt welcome bringing a puppy. Seating extends to a garden, the back and upstairs, though one reviewer notes it can get quite busy. On timing, reviews split: one visitor waited quite a while for food on a Saturday, while another said the wait was not long at all. That waitress put a brownie on the table to make up for the delay, and the diner liked it enough to buy a second to take home.

“My absolute favourite brunch spot and a real hidden gem! I can guarantee you’ll not be disappointed. The menu is packed with unique dishes you wouldn’t find at another cafe. The prices are also very reasonable and the team are always so friendly. It can get quite busy and they handle it very well and make sure you’re looked after. The flavours are just gorgeous and next level! Every brunch item I’ve ever tried at Kitchen 126 has not only has been presented well, but tastes delicious too. The coffee is also amazing with lots of fun drink specials available to choose from. You can choose to sit outside when the weather is nice and there’s even an upstairs so plenty of seating options. I would highly recommend a visit and can guarantee you’ll keep popping back to try more items on the menu it’s that good!”

“We are a family run cafe in Coventry with a passion for brunch! We specialise in something a little unique to the normal offering, and started the business during the pandemic (2020) from a small caravan from our drive (formally known as ‘caravan at the cottage’) We found this site in 2022 and have gained a great reputation for not only our brunch, but our street food and small plates evenings too. We are passionate about food, and our philosophy in life is to look after our guests as if they were in our very own Kitchen (hence the name) To book a table, or any other enquiries, please email us here bookingskitchen126@gmail.com”
