  “I trained as a chef and the food here is genuinely incredible, the short rib blew my mind, the fillet was cooked to perfection, cafe de paris, truffle fries had me emotional at how well balanced the dishes where and the cocktails where also made perfectly. If your carnt take a date take a mate, you won't regret it, friendly staff, lovely venue, the chefs are seriously skilled. A++++++”

  “Absolutely amazing. Every dish excelled the dish before, which I honestly didn’t think was possible. I started with a clover club and off menu spicy marg, 10/10. The staff are so friendly and the atmosphere and setting is really nice. The food was of course the star of the show. Started with bread, the focaccia was the star of the show it was so salty and garlicy absolutely delicious. Then had the king prawns which had the most amazing combination of flavours, honestly incredible. Also had the duck wellington which was insane, so tender and so many different flavours which came together. The raspberries were an amazing touch! Also tried the fillet steak which was very tender and cooked perfectly. The creamy garlic mushrooms were insane with this! The absolute winner for me thought was the lamb tasting - honestly cannot put into words how incredible this was. And such a fantastic concept for a dish. We were lucky enough to be given a raspberry sorbet to cleanse our pallet and the freshness was something else. Gorgeous wine selection and we were blessed enough to meet the owner who is the head chef. It was honestly so nice to speak to him about his food, a chef that genuinely cares and has so much passion. I genuinely would drive four hours to eat here and this food will live in my head rent free for a long time. A MUST WHEN YOUR IN NORTH WALES. Thank you!”

  “Fantastic meal here on New Years Eve. The kitchen is there so you can watch your food being prepared, loved this. Staff were friendly and made chit chat. Food was spectacular. Caramelised onion soup almost brought me to tears. Mushroom risotto was great, portion was very generous. Dessert was delicious. Found the price surprisingly reasonable for a Michelin Star restaurant. Music was a little loud, not to our taste, but overall we enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Thank you, Happy New Year”
