About The Unicorn, Congleton
The Unicorn, Congleton is a pub and sports bar on Holmes Chapel Rd in Congleton, with live sports on screen. Pool tables fill the games side, poker tournaments are held on site, and live bands play there. The pub does not serve food, so guests bring in their own, such as fish and chips from the chippy, or have pizza delivered and eat it inside. That arrangement lets a group settle in with a meal of their choice alongside a pint, and an IPA is kept on rotation behind the bar. Dogs are welcome.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise a welcoming landlord and staff. Pool tables, bands, live sports and poker tournaments come up, along with a good drink selection and an IPA always on rotation. One calls the beer overpriced and the pub out of the way, and another was refused toilet use. Food is not served, but pizza or chippy fish and chips can be eaten inside.

“They don't do food but you can have food delivered, like pizza or go and get fish and chips from the chippy and eat them in the pub...”

“They refused to let us use the toilet when we needed to get changed and we had to get changed outside in the open !”

“Very expensive. Overpriced beer. Would only go here if I lived in the near vicinity as it is out of the way from town centre. Poker here but rules are very strict! Live sports on, poker tournaments and beer. Always have an IPA on rotation (£6+ a pint) ✔️They let you order and eat your own food in for outside. Staff are nice enough.”
