  “ordered two large plant pots to be delivered to my house last weekend. On the face of it the staff seemed fairly helpful and advised me I would receive a call Tues/Wed for delivery to be likely the next Tuesday due to my location. Great. Today is Sunday, I’ve heard absolutely nothing at all. Called and couldn’t get through. Left a voicemail and did receive a call back, but to advise they can’t get the pots and have known this since Thursday! No one had bothered to call me, no one had thought to refund the £240 I spent either! Extremely disappointed in the service I’ve received and will now not be going back to this establishment! Shame, but all because no one could be bothered to pick up the phone.”

  “Fantastic very busy cafe, friendly and efficient service. Recommend booking in advance, we didn’t but luckily they had space, we sat on the outside patio which was lovely. Food was very tasty and very well presented and arrived quite quickly. Very reasonably priced.”

  “Lovely experience. Great breakfast with quality ingredients. You can't make any swaps in the meal items but can add bits on and the staff were polite about this. Definitely worth pre-booking.”

  “I have to say my most recent visit really stood out. From the moment I walked in, the host brought such a warm, positive energy that completely lifted the atmosphere! The team were friendly without being over the top, genuinely attentive, and clearly took pride in what they were doing. My order was made perfectly, and they even took the time to check everything was just right. It’s small touches like that which make a big difference. You can tell the new team members are already having a great impact on the team as service felt smoother, and the whole place just had a more welcoming vibe. It’s not easy to stand out in a busy coffee shop, but they managed it effortlessly. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon!”

  “Stopped to have a drink in the barn cafe. Everything excellent and atmosphere very relaxing. We sat in the outside terrace vibe as it is actually inside but was great. Great relaxing music playing as well. Felt like I was on holiday. This garden centre have upped the anti with their cafe. Excellent. Will definitely be back”

  “Bustling cafe within the garden centre. Lovely setting, staff friendly and polite. Cafe was very busy with only one table free, but that is a symptom of its popularity. Coffee and baked goods were very good. Have been before and would definitely go again.”

  “Remarkable food, the garden centre is great but almost a side show to the food. The best tasting roast I've had to years, also amazing value for the quality and attention to detail in the ingredients. This place should be a restaurant in it's own right. The garden is great with some nice affordable but stylish house items. But the star is the cafe, the chefs are a hidden gem!”

  “One of the nicest garden centres around with gorgeous homeware! I came in for coffee with a friend yesterday and was served by Katy who could not have been more polite and attentive. I was with my 15 week old baby and she moved us from a table outside to one inside as it was a little chilly for the baby. She brought all of our drinks over to our new table and made sure we were with a drink during our whole visit - something I really appreciated as a breastfeeding mum! On the way out, I spoke to the ladies working in the shop as I needed some help with my car and they were so kind and helpful, even offering to come out to the car park with me. This wasn't the first time I visited and won't be the last. Food looked amazing, too, as always! 😊”

  “The Barn has the best plant based menu in terms of garden centres in the area! It's nice to see fresh, healthy options on the menu and not just endless sandwiches. I had the Buddha bowl and it was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend for anyone wanting to try plant based, would be great if they could offer even more options in the future 😊”
