About Eat inn Diner
Eat inn Diner is a cafe on Grange Way in Colchester that serves full English cooked breakfasts alongside its Sunday roast plates of a three-meat roast with a Yorkshire pudding. The breakfast counter covers sausage and bacon baps, including a larger "heffa" version, with egg optional on the smaller bap. The room inside is air conditioned, and dogs are welcome in the seating area. Tables fill up quickly at busy periods, so getting a seat can take patience.

“Came in for a Sunday roast today and it was great! The cafe has air con which was very welcome in the heat at the moment. The staff we all interacted with we're lovely and the cafe has a really nice vibe. The roasts were really good, everything was cooked perfectly, plenty of food on the plate too! My partner had the 3 meats roast and it was huge, he was pretty pleased with himself, the Yorkshire pudding was MASSIVE! The 2 roasts and 2 drinks came to £35 which is incredible value for such a decent roast! Would recommend 100%”

“Local authentic, delicious and fair priced. Location may be not the most picturesque, but absolutely lovely”

“One of the best full English cooked breakfasts in Colchester. Some of the staff do look like they’re fed up when taking your order also, the floor matt before going to the toilets needs changing. It looks hundreds of years old and smells of stale urine. Very off putting when you go to the toilet before your food arrives. Food 10/10 Service 7/10 Hygiene and facilities 4/10”

“I decided to give these guys a go, as I didn't want another McDonald's. Well let me say, it was an expensive experience.l, 2hich I won't be repeating. So i went in and ordered a sausage and bacon bap to take away. They asked if I wanted it with egg, as it would be cheaper. (Not sure how or why, when its one item less) I said I can't eat egg, as I'm allergic to it. They said OK and carried on, next thing i knew, they said it would be £9.10. Yes you read that right, £9.10 for a sausage and bacon bap!!!!!”
