“Fantastic beach side style 'shack' serving all the regular choices you'd expect and some fantastic specials. Probably the best cooked and flavoursome fish I've ever had (and I'm from a North East sea side town) beautiful, light batter and fantastic chips. Not a drop of grease in sight. Absolutely fantastic. The young gent who served us was friendly, polite and quite the salesman. Great experience all round 10 out of 10”

“To start with the location a literal stonesthrow away from East Beach. A perfect place to stop and eat on a bright summer day. The food matched the location in quality. Batter on my sausage was nice and crisp and not too thick. But the star of the show for me was the chips. These ticked all the right boxes for me and I have some quite particular boxes to tick. A generous portion, they were not at all greasy and nice and hot when they arrived. Served plain so that you can decide your own condiment levels. Just a tiny bit of vinegar for me, enough for the salt to stick to. And then a quick shake of salt. Also nice to see the chips in all different sizes and with the smaller crispy bits left in. Those bit are currency with some people and I'll swap with anyone for a bit of extra crunch. I'll be back again whenever I am passing.”
