  “Shocking 1 hour 20 to deliver wet greasy cod. Wouldn’t feed it to my dog. Missing items: bottle of ketchup, fish cake and cheesy chips. What a terrible waste of My £45 hard earned cash. I’d recommend you avoid unless you have zero taste buds and enjoy greasy s**t!!! Avoid Deliveroo you will never get your money back! Over priced slop”

  “Had good food here in the past so gave 2 stars instead of 1. Ordered large cod and chips and large battered sausage, last night on Deliveroo.Fish was really small under cooked with wet batter and was all thrown into 1 box with everything else. The person who served this up obviously knew it wasn't good enough. Is a restaurant that could get a lot better reviews but is let down by its neglectful staff.”

  “Seriously underrated. Staff were very friendly and the food is incredible value for money. I had a “fish supper” which was a decent sized piece of pollack and chips for £6 or £6.50 (I can’t remember which). Kids had a kids meal of nuggets and the chicken seemed to be proper chicken rather than that disgusting reformed chicken paste you get in most places”

  “Average food, premium price. Wasn't even offered salt and vinegar, had to physically ask for it. Even then it was only on the chips. Very plain place, won't be back. Completely missed off curry sauce that i paid for too, sorry excuse of a fish and chip shop.”

  “Stopped off in the evening at this takeaway and wait time was as normal for freshly made fish n chips. Has all the condiments available but just need to ask. Food was hot and good, it satisfied the hunger needs ☺️”

  “I go weekly on a Sunday for my dad, the staff are amazing and try to make suremy order is ready promptly. Fantastic service and if I lived closer we would get our fish and chips treat from there”

  “going always on Sunday getting always fresh and very good fish today we got pick up one on Saturday before 7pm fish was mybe fresh but few hours before preheat one will say on my Saturday collection”

  “Apart from the small Schar bun to large chicken ratio,😆 my gluten free chicken burger actually made me feel normal for once!🥹 (Definitely not complaining about the size! I’d rather that, than the chicken be too small for the bun! Definitely worth the price) The chicken is proper breast fillet and not just processed meat, and it was battered with the perfect seasonings 😚👌 It 100% quelled my chicken burger cravings! I will definitely be coming back for more soon”

  “I have just been serviced the most disgusting sausage and chips I have ever had. Not one to complain they were so bad I returned, to be told they were fine and it is normal, they do a change of oil this time of year. No refund offered. £25 and I threw the lot in the bin. Very disappointed. Picture explains it all really, looks like they have been reheated after hanging around.”
