  “Enjoyed a good value for money meal here yesterday. Great menu, service and friendly staff. My one negative point was the waiter had very long hair, kept running his hands through it, touching his face then serving the food. He was a lovely person but please remember about bacteria's spread from face/hair to glasses, cutlery and customers. I would return again if visiting Bognor. Many thanks”

  “This is probably our 6 or 7th one.. Popped in for breakfast 😋 Food and drink was as good as always. Service was quick as we used the QR code to order online. Was stood by the please wait to be seated sign before a local said they struggle with this just take a seat 😆 Table was extremely sticky.”

  “Seriously, what a great place. We use this as a meeting point for two families living other ends of the coast. The food is great and always consistently hot, good and presented well. But the nicest thing is the staff, who will go out of their way for you and super helpful and pleasant. Wish we had one in Battle where I’m from! Ps I also want the wallpaper in my house!”

  “We visited for brunch and had a really disappointing (and honestly shocking) experience. After putting salt and vinegar on our chips, we realised the vinegar bottle had dead flies in it. It was completely unhygienic and not something you’d ever expect to encounter when eating out. Never did I think I’d need to check inside condiment bottles before using them. We raised this with staff at the time, but were told they couldn’t offer a refund for the food. Instead, I was offered an orange juice, which didn’t feel like an appropriate response given the seriousness of the issue. I also contacted head office afterwards to give them the opportunity to address it privately, but received no response. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt before posting publicly, but this is a clear hygiene concern and people should be aware.”

  “A very nice building inside and out. Can imagine it gets very busy in the summer. I had a cappuccino and a fruit flapjack, both very good. The slight disappointment was the attitude of the staff. Couldn't understand why they seemed so unhappy compared to the staff in other loungers.”

  “I'm sure I had reviewed this place? Apparently not. Look, the only reason you can fault the lounge is because, you might find yourself next to a stag/hen party who have enjoyed the hospitality of Mr Butlins a bit too much, and let's just say, they're making the most of their ironic (maybe) holiday in Boggo with a slap up brekkie, brunch, lunch, linner, dinner, dupper or supper. I may have made some of those up. It's a seat yourself (normally) kind of affair, and you can scan a barcode, enter your table number, and get to ordering...or for 90% of Bognor's population, you can pick up a menu and wander around looking confused until someone points you to the till. No hate here, you do you. Staff are attentive, food is excellent, and prices are reasonable. Yes, it's not cheap, but it's also not terrible - and that isn't guaranteed these days, even if you spend a bit more. Bacon is crispy, as it's meant to be, unlike some establishments where I can only assume they've used a lightbulb oven to 'sweat the meat'. And, yes, it's part of a chain, so if you find a Bonito equivalent elsewhere, I'm pretty sure you are safe. So, if it's payday, and you want guaranteed quality, with friendly staff, you can't go far wrong, just maybe pick your time to avoid the Butlins Adult Weekend Hangover Breakfast if you prefer a quieter time.”

  “I called in for lunch before catching a bus. I absolutely love the decor. Very welcoming and pleasant staff and I didn't have to wait long to wait for my food. My smashed avocado on bruschetta was delicious - I don't really like spices or "hot" but it was full of flavours and just right. There is a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Already planning to come back with friends!”
