About The Ivy Montpellier Brasserie Cheltenham
The Ivy Montpellier Brasserie Cheltenham is a British restaurant on Rotunda Terrace in Cheltenham, with dining in a main dome area. The kitchen cooks modern British dishes with international influences, and breakfast and tea service are on offer as well. A set three-course menu is available for those who want a fixed meal. A full bar runs alongside the dining room, and guests can have a drink there before being seated. The drinks list includes a French martini and non-alcoholic cocktails. A private dining room can be hired for parties, which suits groups, and dogs are welcome. Coats are taken on arrival, and each guest is given a ticket to collect theirs.

Customer Review Summary
Warm, attentive service runs through nearly every review, from a welcome at the bar before seating to a server who was everywhere without hovering, and staff who helped plan a 70th birthday in the private dining room. Steak tartare is the dish named most often, called phenomenal alongside the shepherd's pie, and others single out the scallops, cheese souffle, truffle chicken, ribeye and salmon. Reviewers describe the main dome as beautiful and the venue as grand, and several remark on spotless toilets. A French martini and non-alcoholic cocktails also get mentions, and a few call the set menu good value with decent portions. The one practical note is that it gets very busy, so one reviewer suggests pre-booking and planning around Easter, Mother's Day and racecourse events. One diner's burrata was so good their friend briefly considered ordering a second.

“I have always had a lovely experience at The Ivy in Cheltenham but this time was exceptional. We hired the private dining room for a 70th birthday. The staff were incredibly helpful leading up to the event and on day were brilliant. Very attentive and kind. Made sure everyone was well taken care of. It made the whole planning and execution of the party a real success. Would definitely recommend.”

“Top marks across the board; this place is modern, pretty, and has excellent food and service. I imagine it gets incredibly busy for occasions such as Easter, Mother's Day, or any of the major racecourse events, so do plan accordingly. On an ordinary day it's great for a casual lunch; their steak tartare and shepherd's pie were phenomenal.”

“We came here for a meal for my birthday and it was incredible. The food was amazing and so was the professional yet warm atmosphere. Our server Luca was lovely, she truly made the evening special. Every member of staff we interacted with was so kind and it seemed like a genuinely lovely environment. I would highly recommend this place.”
