Customer Review Summary
Beef curries draw the most praise, led by the Beef Kosha, described as a rich, spicy curry with pulled beef. Close behind are the Beef Achari Madras, with citrus and chilli heat, and the Lamb Hyderabad Special, while the Dhoom Pukht Biryani and a buttery, flaky Special Porota also get singled out. One shared starter round of tandoori lamb chops, ostrich and a crisp butterfly king prawn impressed a diner, and a vegetarian set meal sent two people home with several containers of leftovers. Reviewers also mention welcoming staff and large portions. The complaints are pointed, though. Two reviewers describe takeaway and delivery arriving very late, one with stone cold food, a wrong order, crushed poppadoms and a rude cut-off on the phone. Another found the fish kali dried out and rubbery, with rude table service and a bill that was not itemised. One reviewer who reached a pickup after closing found the staff had stayed open for them.

“This is our regular Indian takeaway. We love the food but delivery is shocking. If you don’t mind waiting 3 hours for your food to arrive then this is the place for you.”

“This has got to be the worst Indian meal I have ever had. The service is nonexistent, the guys waiting the tables could care a less about the customer, so rude. The fish kali. I ordered was dried out bits of old rubbery fish, with a bit of salad and some sort of sauce. No one asked if the food was OK (probably because they knew it wasnt) The bill wasn't itemised and there was no change given. Would never eat in this terrible place again, very bad experience.”

“Avoid if you order Takeaway/Delivery Had the displeasure of ordering a takeaway from here. Only to wait an age, food was stone cold and to add insult to injury the order was incorrect. Now, to be honest I would’ve driven up there to try and correct the order but having waited over 2+Hrs I simply couldn’t be bothered. Rude staff when contacted to get an update on the order to simply be cut off and told it was on its way.. Having waited an age I thought at this point he might be walking with our order. Order was entirely stone cold, incorrect, with soft crushed to bits Poppadoms. What used to be a great Indian restaurant seems to have lost its roots and turned into something that’s mediocre at best. I certainly won’t bother going back. Used to hold it in high esteem not anymore!! Simply terrible all round.”
