About Botany Foodie
Botany Foodie is a Turkish restaurant at 172 Mill Rd in Cambridge, with a menu that leans on breakfast. The Turkish breakfast platter brings olives, hummus, suçuk, couscous, bread, salad, cheese slices and a fried omelette, and menemen is served at breakfast as well. Lahmacun meat pies come from the same kitchen, and the bread is freshly baked. Every drink arrives with free snacks such as pistachios, so a coffee or tea order comes with something to nibble on. Breakfast also extends to an English fried breakfast and an avocado breakfast for diners who want something other than the Turkish spread. All of the food is halal.

“We had a lovely breakfast at Botany Foodie in Cambridge. The food was fresh, authentic, and full of flavour. The Turkish breakfast platter offered a great variety, and the menemen was especially delicious. The traditional Turkish tea was the perfect finishing touch. Friendly service, generous portions, and a relaxed atmosphere made it a great experience. Highly recommended if you’re looking for an authentic Turkish breakfast in Cambridge! ☕🍳🇹🇷”

“Very different turkish restaurant to what I am typically used to. Being an Indian my expectations are to have some donner or shish kebab with some salads on side. But botany foodie was uniquely different. It’s uniquely good with quality food at affordable prices with a good balance of meat veggie salads and presentation and ofcourse combines with great flavours too. The salad dressing were pleasant and meat/chicken quality was great too. Great friendly service too. Spoke the owner Omar and asked why it is different. He said he believes servings not just Halal but also Tayyib (pure, wholesome) food. That’s sums it all up. Thanks. Great addition to Cambridge’s choice of restaurants.”
