“As a San Antonian, I’m very picky w my tacos so here’s the review: food was okay, I don’t care to go back because it doesn’t hit the spot, doesn’t scratch the itch of good, flavorful, authentic Mexican food. The rice was white, not Mexican rice. Beans seemed from a can.. and I’ve never heard of green beans in a taco that was wild but the potatoes were delicious! However, I am very happy to see a Mexican food option at all in England, and I mean, it’s England so you gotta set the bar low in terms of Mexican food. There was one woman working who seemed to be on break? Which is fine and all but we were on a time crunch so it seemed rude for us customers to have to wait on the staff. Definitely different from the hustle culture of traditional taquerias. The one thing I loved was the atmosphere! The vibe is definitely there! It’s not terrible, but i wouldn’t go back.”

“While still not fully authentic, hands down one of the best restaurants in Cambridge with this kind of food. The enchiladas and drowned burrito are delicious and very generous - well seasoned meats and lots of sauce. The atmosphere and music were also really nice. Around busy times, do expect waiting times around 20-25 minutes since there seems to be only one person taking orders and doing the meal prep, but I’d say it’s worth it. Obvious, if they managed to get an extra pair of hands it would be even better. Regardless, hopefully more people get to discover Mr. Taco!”
