About Kerb Kollective
Kerb Kollective is an independent micro bakery, roastery and coffee shop on Ditton Walk in Cambridge, along the river walk near Stourbridge Common. The team roasts single-origin coffee and bakes in-house, with a rotating run of buns that includes spicy scallion and cinnamon-cardamom. Focaccia sandwiches sit on the menu alongside the coffee, and bags of beans are sold to take home. Dogs are welcome. The roastery also supplies freshly roasted coffee, training and support to cafés, restaurants, offices and hospitality teams, and it takes on corporate catering and events.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often return for the buns, with the spicy scallion bun and the cinnamon bun singled out, alongside coffee that several call the best in Cambridge. One describes an iced flat white with a slight nutty and floral note, and another praises an iced latte as rich but not bitter. Close behind are the focaccia sandwiches, which one reviewer calls off the chart, and a rotating line of new buns and sweet treats. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly, and the place is called dog friendly. Several mention the walk along the river, and newer reviews welcome the indoor seating and the music at the Ditton Walk location. The criticisms are small but specific. One reviewer found the flat white milk steamed too hot and slightly burnt, another thought the pastries looked a bit dry, and a third felt staff only dealt with them in passing. Another noted the counter felt crowded because museum tickets were sold beside the till. Reviewers also mention free cold water offered outside and paper cups and lids instead of plastic.

“Easily the best coffee and buns in Cambridge. Well worth the journey - and actually reachable via a very pleasant walk down the river and past the old leper chapel. As a bonus they now have indoor seating!”

“Cannot recommend highly enough. Such delicious buns and coffee is also best in Cambridge. Staff friendly, atmosphere inclusive and lovely. The focaccia sandwiches are also off the chart! Will be coming back again and again and again…”

“I loved Kerb Kollective when it was next to the river, and it’s great to see them settled into their new location. Great coffee. Probably the best coffee in Cambridge. A special shout out to Ewelina, she makes the most incredible baked/ pastry goodies. I love how Kerbs always has a new bun, or new sweet treat to try. So good! Pop in if you are on a walk on Stourbridge common or in the Newmarket road area. Lovely friendly staff - and dog friendly. Great secret coffee spot. Thanks”

“Lovely coffee and buns in a very authentic and unpolished atmosphere. Definitely worth the walk out of town!”
