Customer Review Summary
Coffee is what most reviewers return to, described as smooth, rich, and consistently excellent, with one regular saying it has tasted even better since the café changed hands. Toasts and toasties come close behind, including a fig jam, blue cheese and rocket toast called "Gettin' Figgy Wit It", a ham toastie that was perfectly toasted, and another with the perfect amount of crunch. Others mention an iced mango matcha, cold brew, a tasty salad, and vegan options with quite nice vegan cheese. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and welcoming, and several describe the space as cosy and relaxed, with outdoor seating. The one criticism is small: a reviewer found a decaf oat milk cappuccino a bit sour, while adding that they know little about coffee. A three-year regular mentions little complimentary treats, and a dog owner describes the owner bringing biscuits for two visiting dogs.

“Our local coffee shop and happy place! ☕️ We’ve been coming here a few times a week for the past three years, and I have to say, I genuinely think the coffee tastes even better since it changed hands. The coffee is consistently excellent, the toasties are absolutely delicious, and you can really tell everything is made with care. The new owners are incredibly kind, caring and welcoming. Every time we visit, they make us feel at home. There are often little complimentary treats, which are such a thoughtful touch and make every visit feel that bit more special. I personally love sitting outside, having a nice coffee and working on a new song! So it’s simply inspiring for me! It’s so lovely to see this place thriving under its new owners. We’re really lucky to have such a fantastic local café, and we’ll definitely keep coming back. Highly recommended!”

“Excellent café with a delicious breakfast and great value. The carafe of coffee gave me well over a cup, which was a pleasant surprise. What really stood out, though, was how genuinely dog-friendly the café is. The owner welcomed my two Papillons, Bertie and Felix, and even brought them some dog biscuits, which was a lovely touch. There's easy parking nearby, and it's an ideal place to visit if you're waiting for someone at Royal Papworth or Addenbrooke's Hospital. I'll definitely be back.”
