“I ordered the New Yorker toast, but unfortunately it was almost empty inside. It was probably the most disappointing New Yorker I’ve had — I’ve honestly had much better ones from supermarkets. The atmosphere is really nice, the coffee was good, and the service was great. Just a shame about the food, as otherwise it would have been a really nice experience.”

“As an anti inflammatory eating person, I was SOOO happy to see avocado toast on !SOURDOUGH! on the menu :) Besides the good food, staff was kind & the cafe cozy ☺️”

“Generally this could be a great cafe, it has good coffee and eager staff. However two things let it down for me. First the toasted sandwich I ordered was expensive at £12 and came without salad or coleslaw or chips that might be expected for the price. I could have got the same sandwich on a meal deal from any supermarket at half the price. Second I wasn't amused when paying up front the machine asked to add a tip, before having food or any service.”

“The Locker Cafe is a lovely spot with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. It is a great place to stop for coffee, brunch, or a quick break while walking around Cambridge. The food and drinks were good, and the place felt comfortable and welcoming without trying too hard. A nice little cafe and definitely worth visiting.”

“Rude staff - literally not a smile on their faces. Additionally, I bought a bowl of shakshuka for £13.50 which was absolutely tiny - would not feed a child, and then when I asked for butter to go on the toast, they said it would cost 50p, as if £13.50 was not criminal enough. I have uploaded a picture of the butter pot. When I complained to the woman behind the till, she did not even say anything just stared at me and kept silent. I will never go there again and I will inform all my friends who live in Cambridge to never visit.”
