About Katsouris Delicatessen
Katsouris Delicatessen is a deli in Bury with a built-in cafe, set inside a store at Bury market on Market St. The deli side sells cooked roast meats, including garlic sausage, and the ciabatta sandwiches come with fillings such as tuna and sweetcorn. The cafe serves a breakfast of sausages, ciabatta toast, tomato and mushroom, so a visit can start with a cooked plate or end with a sandwich to take away. The shop opens Monday to Saturday and closes on Sundays.

Customer Review Summary
Ciabatta sandwiches are the most frequent draw at this Bury market deli, with reviewers describing fresh, loaded fillings and singling out a tuna and sweetcorn version. Close behind are the coffee, served in cups one reviewer likens to buckets, and a cheesecake another calls the best they have had. Diners also mention the range of cooked roast meats, including garlic sausage, and say food arrives fast and delicious even when the place is very busy. The criticism is substantial, though. Several describe rude staff, one citing a milkshake that took ages and tasted terrible. Others report dirty tables during a rush, with a server's bad attitude when asked to clean one, and tables packed so close that people squeeze past. One breakfast was called overpriced, with tiny sausages, a tiny piece of ciabatta toast and a barely warm half tomato. Another reviewer found a cappuccino with almost no foam, and a bowl of fries for four pounds was judged tiny. One visitor still recalls a staff member who patiently explained the different food items before a takeaway order.

“Overpriced breakfast that had no effort while thrown together, tiny sausages, tiny ciabatta toast with a tiny bit of butter thrown in the middle. Half a cut tomato flashed on a griddle barely warm, soggy mushroom. Staff trying to not give u eye contact incase u ask them where the hell you’re supposed to order and queue. Unhelpful and un inviting”

“1 star is generous, staff was rude to customers and had no manners towards customers. Poor service and took ages to make a milkshake and ended up tasting terrible anyway. Rudest waiters ever”

“Discovered katsouris today. Went in with 2 friends to order some take out food.. Couldnt make a decision on what to order. The lady with the glasses was extremly helpful helping us to decide and explaining us the different food items. The food was amazing. The young lad ( with glasses) making the food knows his job😀 and made such delicious sandwiches. The coffee was was one of the best ones i had here in bury. The only downside is.....that we didnt discover katsouris earlier!!! Will be defenitly returning.”

“Bought a cappuccino very disappointed. Thought being greek couldn't go wrong. 1 part foam wasn't to be seen. Don't know what to call it but definitely wasn't a cappuccino.”

“£4 for the tinest bowl of fries ridiculous! They asked if I wanted small or large. I even questioned if I'd actually recieved two large they said yes. I'd hate to see the small! Even others around were shocked. Won't be going back.”
