  “My favourite takeaway in bury. The peri fries are absolutely delicious, with the perfect balance of crispiness and peri seasoning. The peri burger is equally tasty, packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. What really stands out is the friendly front desk staff, who provide excellent customer service and make every visit enjoyable. A great place for both amazing food and a pleasant dining experience.”

  “My issue isn't the food...it's the service! Over the years, each time we've made an "food to collect order" and then gone to pick it up at the given time, its never ever been ready, in fact that's when they start making it... Another issue I've had is, couple of times we've walked in to make an order, we've stood there for ages and the server completely ignored my husband, not once! But a few times! His boss or whoever kept telling him to serve other customers, and ignored us completely! Knowing we've been stood there for such a long time! So rude ignorant and disrespectful. So stopped ordering from here, shame, because the foods decent, They just need to improve their service.”

  “Been going to chunky chicken for years moved out of the area but still do the journey for the fresh delicious food. The staff are welcome and friendly. They know me by first Name basis. Would recommend anybody to go and try the food.”

  “I ordered several burgers, but the chips were absolutely unacceptable. They tasted as though they’d been cooked in dirty, overused oil and were hard, stale, and completely inedible. The packaging proudly claims they “eat what they serve” — if that’s true, they should try eating these chips themselves. The food quality was far below any acceptable standard. I believe this is something the Food Standards Agency should be aware of. I will not be ordering from here again and would not recommend it to others.”

  “Fantastic place. Been going here for years. Appreciate the quick service and respect that is shown to my family each time we go in. Definitely recommend. 10/10 And YES, the food is to die for!!! HAHA. Peri burger with cheese, extra mayo every day of the week”

  “Chunky s food has gone down hill specially the peri chicken n chips as. Peri chicken was hard n like chewing rubber and had lots of black bits inside it. Won't be getting the rubber peri chicken again. Chips wee cold wen we got home. Quality of food has gone down. We was told pick up in 20 minutes but wen we got there after 20 minutes food wasn't ready had to stand more 20 minutes to get it. It's like your fighting to get your food atmosphere dull. Won't be going there”

  “⛔️ Do not park on the smudged double reds outside the take away or you will get stung with a fine. Either foot patrol it or park else where. The lines aren’t clearly visible on a night and there’s no clear sign post.‼️ As far as the food standards. This is one of the very few places that still does a whopping peri fillet. Every Chunky Chicken including the head quarters in rochdale has declined. This branch has maintained their standards and do not take short cuts.”

  “Yousaf has amazing customer service, and going there alone is worth it. The food is very cheap compared to the quality. The chips are crunchy on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside. The burger was not very juicy, but at this price, it's really worth it. The hot wings were the same, not juicy but not too oily. Overall, it's the best out there in terms of price and quality.”

  “This is probably the best takeaway in Greater Manchester! I’ve been going here for a few years and the food quality is amazing for the prices. The place is clean and organised and it’s always busy but they never lower their standard. If you’re in Bury and want some food, this is a must go place 😁🔥 I’d recommend the uzi burger or inferno burger 😋 Honestly, this is my favourite place to get takeaway food as the quality of the meat is amazing and it’s clearly fresh. I recommend it to everyone who loves flavorful and delicious food 💯”

  “We ordered two full Chicken Platters, one with Rice and the other with Chips. The Chicken was hard and Chewy as though it was overcooked and certainly not fresh. The Rice was also hard and not fresh although the Chips and Salad was on point. Must say l was let down with the food unfortunately. The atmosphere and service was pleasant and the shop was super clean. We will be trying the Burgers, Wraps and Pizza 🍕 next time and I'll again leave my honest review as always. Do give this place a try with friends and Family 👍🏼”
