  “I like visiting lounges as they all seem to be consistent across board with a good variety and decent portion sizes for price. However, cannot say the same for this one. Very small portion sizes, even the number of tacos compared to other lounges was different, and management are incredibly rude. Waiting staff were nice and tried their best to accommodate but manager was awful.”

  “Me and my partner have visited here twice now. The first time, the food was exceptional. They accommodated my allergies extremely vigilantly and the service was fast, welcoming and overall a very lovely experience. We went again recently and even though the food came out cold, the staff were very helpful in sending it back to kitchen making sure it was hot, presentable and even giving us extra portions of chips. They didn’t treat us any differently even though I’m sure our requests made their job harder and they apologised profusely on behalf of the chef. We will be back here as we love the place and the team, especially Terry who handled our food situation with the kitchen and made the whole experience extremely positive. Thank you!”

  “I had a lovely meal here on a Sunday afternoon. No issues getting a table and the staff were very lovely. I had the Mediterranean Grill with some halloumi fries and everything was absolutely delicious.”

  “Gorgeous place and gorgeous food. Service was friendly, seated straight away and food came within 15 mins. The salted caramel iced coffee is stunning and they offer a huge variety. i got a full english and my bf got birria toasties. will definitely return and highly recommend”

  “Had a really enjoyable visit here last week. It was a warm day, so we sat outside where there’s plenty of comfortable seating. The atmosphere was relaxed and it wasn’t too busy, which made it even more pleasant. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout. I ordered the toasted seeded hummus, and my daughter had the super grain salad with chicken — both dishes were excellent. My daughter even said it was the best salad she’s ever had, and I have to agree it looked and tasted fantastic. The place itself is clean and well-kept, including the toilets, which is always a good sign. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service. Overall, a great experience — I’d definitely return and would highly recommend it. Next time, I’ll be trying that super grain salad!”

  “FOOD STOP AT 10 PM. First visit. Very busy! I:30 on Thursday. Seated quickly. Moved due to chill from front door. Separate all vegan menu. Woo Hoo. Saroor (?) took incredibly kind, patient care of us, and this photo. You order at the bar then your food comes to your table number. I had the vegan breakfast. It was very wonderful with vintage art all around. Thank you! We'll be back!”

  “Raccanto Lounge from the Loungers chain is a great Lounge, located within The Rock. There are multiple places to park nearby, meaning you won’t need to walk through the town centre for too long to get here, which is handy. The interior is large with cool artwork and similar vibes to any other Lounge. I like the floor-to-ceiling windows, which can make the place feel really nice during summer. Although the reliance on natural daylight can make it feel a little dark during the evening, there is a small outdoor seating area too, which looks pleasant. I’ve visited here a couple of times now, and the food quality tends to be good. One of my favourite options at the moment is the GF Lounge Breakfast, swapping the bacon for an extra sausage, and adding an extra egg with both eggs poached, which is usually pretty tasty. Prices are reasonable, and the gluten-free selection is great, with a plethora of dishes from brunch to fried chicken, from tapas to burgers, they probably have the best range of gluten-free food in Bury. I mainly visit Raccanto on a Saturday, when they tend to be quite busy. A couple of minor issues have come up, but I feel it’s more down to being busy, such as running out of certain items including cakes, and most recently the Lounge Passport, and on my most recent visit, I was asked if I needed a gluten-free menu, which was provided, but the staff member forgotten to tell me to order at the bar, but he was probably just in the zone saying the usual script about the QR code which he would do normally. I look forward to returning to this one for sure!”

  “Their food is very good. I really like the noodles with breaded chicken. Their sauce is very good, although the last time it was very spicy. The service is good. The order is placed via QR code, so we don’t have much contact with the waiter.”

  “Fantastic place. So much to look at visually. Great service and choice. Wine was very reasonably priced at £21 for a bottle of Tempranillo. We choice 3 tapas with a side of garlic and cheese fries and macaroni cheese. All delicious. We finished our wine on the comfy couches near the window people watching. Very easy to find the place in the centre of Bury just a short walk from the bus station and metro. Highly recommend.”
