Customer Review Summary

Reviewers come for the weekly changing pop-up kitchens, and the modern Greek residency draws the most detail. Two diners single out the octopus, one noting its sweet grape glaze, and others praise the Greek salad with icy cucumber crush and feta and the dessert. Other pop-ups get named too, including TNT Tacos and Kring Kringz, along with a crab lasagne, a stuffed chicken, handmade pasta and a three course menu with pork fillet and smoked cashew curd. Diners call the venue quirky and rustic, describe the owner and servers as lovely and welcoming, and mention that it is dog friendly. One reviewer was underwhelmed by the Greek night, reporting a very long gap between the first and last dishes, poor quality for the price, and a table so hungry afterward that they bought takeaway. Another recalls the bartender making a new drink, a ginger refresher that suited the mood and the weather.

“Went with family and friends for the Modern Greek and it was definitely the most delicious Greek food in Bristol (if not the UK as a whole). The highlight was the octopus and dessert but everything was top-notch nonetheless. I would highly recommend!!”

“Went for the Greek food and it was a really underwhelming experience. Paid £113 for food (drinks on top) between 4 people and we had to go and get takeaway after as we were so hungry. Quality was poor for the price point too, been for many better meals in Bristol. The wait between the first and last dish was 70 minutes.”

“The most amazing and creative version of Greek food at this pop up! My favourite is the octopus with a sweet and balanced grape glaze. The Greek salad with icy cucumber crush and feta is the most refreshing appetiser. I would recommend it 1000 times if you’re at Bristol.”

“We had an incredible 3 course meal off the biotē menu. Every morsel of food was incrediblly delicious, special shot out to the pork fillet and the smoked cashew curd. The servers were lovely and the place has a rustic charm. Would definitely dine again!”
