About Blame Gloria - Cocktail Bar in Bristol
Blame Gloria is a cocktail bar in Bristol, set in a basement at 22 Small St, down a side street. Bottomless cocktails are the draw, and sessions run about two hours. Drag queens perform during the night and trade jokes between sets. A DJ plays music, and guests play music bingo on their phones and dance. Servers bring drinks to the table, and the seating is high with small tables. Food is pre-ordered from a short menu of about three choices, including burgers and buttermilk chicken. The bar takes walk-ins.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the drag queens, described as lovely and hilarious, with gags that bounce off each other and jokes that don't feel forced. Close behind are the music, including a phone-based music bingo that lets people dance, and the fast drink service with bottomless cocktails and jugs. Several praise friendly staff, and one diner calls the food tasty and hot with a good size portion. The complaints are specific. One reviewer says pre-ordered food still arrived wrong, burgers went back because the coleslaw sits on the burger rather than the side, and the buttermilk chicken was spicy, so four people in the party left theirs uneaten. The same reviewer found the high seats and small tables cramped once jugs, glasses and bingo tickets piled up, and the bingo hard to follow amid chatter. Another reviewer reports a group dumping coats and drinks on their table and laughing when asked to move, until staff asked them to leave. Others recall dancing with a neighbouring table of 70-year-olds and staff offering to play their favourite tunes.

“Great service from our waiter, Test drive was a great singer and entertainment, just wish we were in more of the central location of where they performed. Food was tasty and hot with a good size portion.”

“Came here while discovering Bristol and I absolutely loved this place! Amazing atmosphere, the staff is making you feel welcomed(shoutout to Maggie!) The price may seem high at first sight but it’s actually worth the price when you consider everything that we have for the bottomless cocktails and the really good food! Definitely recommend!”
