  “Had a mid week meal at Miller and Carter. Exceptional service from Kelly who clearly loves her job - nothing was too much trouble including laughing at my father-in-law's jokes. As a vegan customer at a steak restaurant I found the choices good, although a 2nd vegan option on the starter set-menu would be welcomed. I particularly liked the vegan torte which was delicious. I chose a main meal and a dessert, with olives to start instead. 💯 Customer focused. Recommended.”

  “Lovely meal tonight on the 3 course weekday menu. Food was good and service was great. Kelly our server was brilliant. We didn't stay in the hotel but the location is good and large car park.”

  “We ate at the restaurant yesterday evening and had Kelly as our Steak Expert. She was professional, attentive, patient and good humoured. She made us feel welcome and valued as customers, allowing us time to make decisions and choices in our own time. We didn't feel rushed or pressured and that was very important to us It is an annual event for us as we use it as celebration / memorial to mark the passing, in very quick succession, of three parents so it important, for us, that we feel comfortable - and we did. We have done it since 2023 and will return again next year. Thank you.”

  “We had a fantastic experience! Ellie was friendly, attentive and made us feel really welcome throughout our meal. I had the Angus ribeye, which was cooked perfectly exactly as requested – tender, full of flavour and one of the best steaks I’ve had in a while. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!”

  “We had a fantastic meal at Miller & Carter. The food was cooked perfectly, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service really made the experience special. Our waitress, Kelly, was absolutely lovely—friendly, attentive, and always made sure we had everything we needed with a smile. She was a real credit to the team and made our visit even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend both the restaurant and Kelly’s excellent service!”

  “The location was ideal and easy to find. Parking was easy with plenty of space and the booking in process was very efficient. The rooms were very nice, clean and well kept. The main restaurant was very nice. The service from Kelly was excellent and the food is some of the best I’ve tasted. Overall experience 5 star”

  “Had a lovely lunch today with friends. Served by Monica who was extremely helpful and kind with me as I'm a coeliac and unable to eat anything containing gluten or with possible cross contamination. Miller and Carter are coeliac accredited. Monica still double check my selections via a Tablet to ensure that I was eating safely. The grill chef Amy cooked everything to perfection. My calamari and salmon were tender and succulent. My desert light and delicious.”

  “We had an absolutely wonderful Sunday lunch at Miller & Carter Brighton. We ordered the Sunday Roast Set, and everything was exceptional. The food was delicious, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. It was one of the best Sunday roasts we have ever had. A special thank you to Monika, who was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional throughout our visit. She made us feel very welcome and looked after us with genuine care. We would also like to compliment Chef Lili for the outstanding food. Every dish was beautifully prepared and cooked to perfection. It was clear that great care and attention went into every detail. Excellent service, amazing food, and a wonderful atmosphere. Thank you, Monika and Lili, for making our visit so special. We will definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Brighton.”
