Customer Review Summary
Oysters draw the most mentions, enjoyed with red wine vinegar and shallots, and one first-timer was steered by a server toward a cooked Porthilly oyster with Korean BBQ instead of a raw one. Close behind are the seafood dishes: squid and shellfish risotto, lobster thermidor, sea bream, halibut, tempura shrimp and surf n turf, with whipped cods roe potato skins singled out as a highlight. One reviewer praises the dairy free menu. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly and attentive, and the beach views draw steady praise. The caveats are modest. One reviewer finds the portions on the small side, another calls the food just aight, and a third notes the upscale pricing. One suggests booking for groups because the tables are few and sit perpendicular to the windows. Even so, a party that arrived on a busy Saturday night without a booking was given an outdoor table and cosy blankets.

“Wonderful service. We arrived on a busy Saturday night with no booking and (unlike other restaurants in the area) they were super accommodating, managed to get us a table outside, provided lovely cosy blankets.. our waitress was so attentive and we were checked up on throughout the night and given everything we needed. Service was quick and food was absolutely stunning!! Worth the money and a gorgeous view. We’ll be back!”

“Finished the working week off and started the weekend with a very beautiful lunch on the seafront was a real treat. Super helpful staff who knew the menu. Oysters followed by tuna tartar and one of the daily specials was a divine lunch. Very refreshing and very tasty. Halibut fell apart perfectly.”

“We had the loveliest anniversary here! Service: our waiters were super helpful with wine and food recommendations, fun to chat with, kind, and attentive! Food: absolutely delicious. We got the surf n turf, seafood risotto, caviar, and oysters for dinner with drinks. All seafood was fresh and expertly prepared Atmosphere: so relaxing and beautiful. We sat outside looking out to the beach. Chairs were comfortable outside though inside I noticed mostly high chairs in case that is a concern. There was fun music from the place next door as well!”
