  “My partner and I went to Casa last year whilst looking for a venue to hold our wedding reception. We was shown around by the Manager who took plenty of time to show off the place and answer all questions we had. We fell in love straight away (the views are amazing) and got this booked for an incredibly competitive price in comparison to other venues. In the run up to the big day, all the staff was absolutely phenomenal. All was really helpful, kind and all wanted to ensure the day went perfectly. Casa was incredible flexible with the times and allowed us plenty of time to add the final touches to venue. We had many family members stay in the newly renovated rooms and they were stunning. Modern, clean and cozy with ensuite in each room. The day itself was absolutely perfect, the staff was very professional and all of our guests commented on good the staff was. My partner and I opted for a Roast Dinner for our wedding meal and this was spectacular. Even when cooking for many guests at once, the food quality didn't drop at all. To summarise, I've got nothing but love for Casa Brighouse. They've made what can be the most stressful day of our lives into the most memorable day to remember. To every single staff member at Casa, thank you so much for a wonderful day. You're an absolute credit to Casa! Our go to restaurant and venue from now on!”

  “Where to begin : my daughter’s wedding…. The venue have built some new bedrooms above the venue & they are lovely, they had pulled out all the stops to get them ready so as not to let my daughter down which it was looking was going to happen several days before ,but they had excelled themselves 👍 The venue itself was perfect for the wedding , large glass sliding doors that are pulled back to lead onto the massive terrace with the lake as a backdrop , photos perfect The service went without a hitch then came the food , it was a buffet type meal which was of high quality charcuterie board , absolutely delicious & fresh breads & cheeses … the servers were very upbeat , pleasant & professional.. few hours later the evening guests arrived & a BBQ set up with an array of different meats & salads … perfect….. the bar was well manned & service was done with a smile even when it was crowded …. All in all it was a fantastic occasion & finished off perfectly in the morning with a full English breakfast for the 44 family guests who had stayed over ….. thank you all for making it a perfect day”

  “Took my best friend for lunch. I'd taken a cake and asked the waiter to bring a cake out after we had eaten. However they brought it out before we had even had our starter and I didnt have time to record the moment! The waitress put plates down for the cake and left everything on the table, i was confused by this as nowhere ive ever been to brings the birthday cake before eating! Immediately the starters came and there was nowhere to put them as we had a massive cake and plates on a small table. The waiter just stood there so i had to move everything to a free table. My friend enjoyed her starter but my pate was dry and the bread cold and old. Sunday dinner...chicken was dry, Yorkshire pudding rock hard, not enough gravy and we weren't able to have any more. What was supposed to be a nice meal with surprise cake was dampened by waiters who don't listen and bad food. Won't be eating there again. This place is way better on the balcony with a DJ and drinks, not food.”

  “Slightly unusual place awesome views the drinks are of a good variety but slightly on the steep side food is fresh but slightly overpriced. you can sit outside and have a good conversation with your family and friends whilst enjoying the beautiful and peaceful views”

  “A lovely place within a beautiful setting. The food portions are good and the set menu is a good price. However, the gravy is very greasy. The menu states to inform staff of any allergies or intolerances, I am lactose intolerant. There are no vegan options on the menu whatsoever, however I could have the vegetarian starter and main that did not contain lactose. When I asked if there were any vegan desserts, the waitress checked and told me there were none. In this day and age I find that to be quite backwards. Basically, tell staff about any intolerances and they cannot offer an alternative. Such a shame as it really is a lovely place.”

  “My husband and I had our wedding meal here on Saturday after our ceremony. The whole team went above and beyond to make it all absolutely beautiful. We had initially said we wanted a low key meal, with family only rather than a traditional wedding breakfast. However, as time went on we realised we did want something more up scale. Colin and the team totally pulled it out of the bag! The room looked stunning and was dressed in our wedding colours for us. Our memorial table was set up beautifully. I honestly did not have to worry about anything.. sent a seating plan and place cards over and everything was handled by the team from there. Everyone was so attentive, accommodated all our last minute add ons, on the day and made us feel really special. We loved the food, as did all of guests! Lots have already said they will be returning for meals there! The overall cost in comparison to what we received did not align... in the BEST way! Everything was just such beautiful quality. Honestly cannot fault anything. Thank you so much team Casa!”

  “I’ve actually driven past this restaurant a few times and never noticed it before. We booked afternoon tea through Groupon and it was worth every penny, the food and drinks were delicious, the views were stunning, and the staff were quick and friendly throughout our visit. The only advice I would give is to take a fan if you’re visiting during very hot weather if sitting inside (28–34 degrees). As we had booked afternoon tea, we were seated inside by the open windows, but through no fault of the staff the room became extremely hot. With the glass windows and no breeze, it felt a bit like a greenhouse. That said, we had a lovely experience overall and will definitely be returning.”

  “A very disappointing experience at this restaurant yesterday. Before arriving, we called to let them know we would be around 20 minutes late due to traffic. We were reassured this wouldn’t be a problem, and at no point were we warned about any delays or extended waiting times. We then travelled over an hour to get there, only to be told on arrival that it would be another 30 minutes before we could even place a food order. During this time, we asked three separate times to order drinks but were completely ignored, and eventually had to go to the bar ourselves and pay separately. It then took approximately 95 minutes before our food order was finally taken. We were told we would receive complimentary garlic bread “in minutes,” but this never arrived. We then waited at least another 30 minutes with no starters, no garlic bread, and no updates from staff. By this point, it was after 9pm. With over an hour’s journey home ahead of us—and having come straight from a long nursing shift without eating—we made the decision to leave and there was other tables walking out before us. When we informed staff, we were ignored by two members of staff, which only added to an already frustrating and unacceptable experience. Overall, we spent over two hours travelling, received no food, no communication, and extremely poor service throughout. Staff were unable to even advise when we might receive our food. We also noticed several other tables complaining or leaving, which reflects how poorly the situation was handled. This level of service is completely unacceptable. I also reached out to them but surprisingly got no reply.”

  “The location of the venue makes it easy to find. Very spacious function room which is well lit. I found the staff to be attentive, polite and friendly. There is good parking, which I would day is safe. Toilet facilities were clean, a well stocked Bar was also available. I would definitely use this Venue again.”
