  “FIRST IMPRESSION: Only 2 staff during school holidays says it all. Service was poor from the off. Booked a table with 1 highchair (the booking system Asks how many are needed) Yet, after waiting 7 minutes to be seated, our table had no highchair the waitress did bring one, when asked. SERVICE: another group of 2 ladies with several children between them, arrived a little after us, clearly visit regularly as the waitress went straight to them, taking their drinks & food order, 1 lady offered her debit card and was promptly given controllers, soon followed by their drinks. I'd to then ask the waitress as she walked away if we could order! I also asked for controllers, but was advised "they'd all gone now"..!! Quite some time passed, so we were playing the retro games, which was fun, when the male waiter kindly told me our food was on the table.. FOOD: My hotdog was very nice & well presented, you can't go far wrong though can you, I hadn't noticed it came with fries, so orders sweet potato ones. However, they were burnt to a crisp! (Photo) My son's nacho burger wrap was 'ok', he said afterwards, very well done but he was starving. His girlfriend managed less than half her meal. I asked if it 'had got the better of her'? She replied "no, it's too over cooked" on flipping it over, I saw it was also burnt to a crisp!! (Photo) We decided to just go... I waited over 10 minutes to pay as the waitress was very busy delivering food to another large group. Again, understaffed issue! Poor Management!! At no point were we approached and asked if the meal was ok.. and on paying she didn't bother to ask either. ZERO customer service from her! The worse £50 spent,!! I didn't waste my time commenting to her as it was obvious she "really didn't care"! We've been a few times in the past, although not for quite a while, and really enjoyed it, the retro atmosphere is brilliant. But it was our guests first visit and honestly, if that had been our first visit, we definitely wouldn't go again, we'd built her up her a fabulous time and she couldn't wait to get out of the place!! We went to another cafe to buy her an alternative meal.. Beyond disappointed NXT Level.. and sadly we won't recommend you to anyone anymore..”
