Customer Review Summary

Donner is the most discussed item, and reviewers are sharply split on it. Admirers call it some of the best they have had, filling and full of flavour, and one praises the home made sauce. A family who have been customers for decades say the food is spot on every time, and another reviewer found the chicken marvellous and succulent, though the order took a while. The complaints are more numerous and specific. Several describe greasy or dry donner and chips, one noting bubbles of fat running through the meat, others cold or stale chips. One reviewer reports staff preparing food without gloves, and another describes a wrong order and miserable staff. One critical diner still said the service was good. Pizza draws criticism too, with one reviewer reporting an uncooked base and another calling it inedible. Two reviewers say the chicken donner on naan arrived with mostly onions and salad and hardly any chicken.

“A Culinary Oasis Amidst the Asphalt If you find yourself staring at a relentless stream of traffic, wondering if there is more to life than the rhythmic hum of tires on pavement, pull over. While the immediate surroundings of this establishment offer little more than a panoramic view of the local commute and a well-thumbed menu, the food provides a much-needed detour for the senses. I recently sampled the chicken, and "marvellous" feels like an understatement. It was seasoned with a precision that suggests the kitchen staff views poultry as a fine art rather than just a protein. My only regret? Not doubling down on the indulgence. If I could go back in time, I’d tuck that succulent chicken inside one of their signature burgers to create the ultimate handheld masterpiece. Quality Worth the Wait In an era of "blink-and-you-miss-it" fast food, this place dares to take its time. Yes, they took a while to get the order out, but it wasn't due to inefficiency; it was due to craftsmanship. They clearly refuse to serve anything less than perfection. Every minute spent watching cars roll by was an investment that paid off in the first bite. The Verdict Don't let the unassuming location or the lack of scenery fool you. You aren't here for the architecture or the street life—you’re here for a meal that justifies the journey. For those who value flavor over fast-track service, I highly recommend this place. It is a true hidden gem in a landscape of asphalt.”

“Spuddys on oak lane is becoming really stingy with their chicken donner, my son bought two chicken donner on naan and there was hardly any chicken. All we got is lots of onions and other salad I was searching for chicken but couldn't find any, and this is not happened first time its happened before too. But I let it go because of Zahir used to work here. These guys are not good they are too tight with portions, and sometimes they put few chips in to make it look heavy.”
