  “This was genuinely the worst restaurant experience I’ve had in Bradford. From the moment the food arrived, there were multiple issues. The mango chutney in the pickle tray smelled off and tasted as though it had gone bad. The salad was no better – the onions looked old, had a very unpleasant smell, and tasted awful. We informed the staff about both of these issues, but then the garlic naan arrived, and even the butter on it smelled off as well. At that point, we’d completely lost confidence in the food. We decided not to eat any more, paid, and left as quickly as we could. Looking back, I should have realised something wasn’t right when we walked in. The restaurant was completely empty, and we were the only customers. I also wish I’d read the reviews beforehand. What made the experience even worse was the lack of any meaningful apology or concern from the owner. We left feeling extremely disappointed, and what should have been a nice meal out completely ruined our day. We eat out every week, and this is by far the worst dining experience we’ve had. Based on our experience, we won’t be returning.”

  “Ordered from Dhesi Grill and regretted it within hours. Food tasted off, hygiene clearly isn’t being taken seriously, and I ended up with stomach issues straight after eating. Not touching this place again. If you value your gut, avoid.”

  “I accidentally ordered food because my mum didnt tell me to not order any more within 5 mins i called to ask to cancel and they said no i asked uf there was any way to cancel it and he went off and got mad i told him id sort it out and he went off on a tantrum shouting and said what do you mean you will sort it out come pick it up now i said i will i will i literally just said that and he hung up the phine abruptly”

  “Great Service, Food was really nice, enjoyed with friends, have ablution, prayer facilities. Think prices need to be looked at on some items and some staff training for the staff behind the counter, but overall a good experience.”

  “Absolutely amazing OUT OF THIS WORLD! I come here once a month with my wife and the service is always absolutely impeccable, I always order the same three dishes, Lamb Karahi (Hot), chicken Karahi (Hot) and chicken Tikka masala (Mild) with three garlic naans. It's always made to absolute perfection and the service is mind blowing. They meet your every need without even the need to call the waiter. You can tell it's a family business as it it all works like a well oiled machine, great teamwork. Bravo 👏”

  “Came here 10 years ago with family when i was small, i asked family, would you like to get their food again? This time for pick up instead of eating in the restaurant? They said ok. I got the peri peri chicken which came with chips, salad, sauces & naan. Was £10 each on offer and it was amazing. Just like last time. They also have got options like desserts too and place is super clean despite being busy.”

  “I've got coeliac so can't eat wheat rye oats or barley I have also got IBS so tend to stay away from spicy food. When I called they said the Lord of the wings or whatever it was called is gluten free so I ordered it and specifically mentioned please do not add spices. So tell me why when it came it had red crushed chillies?? I even specified twice it's like the ignored exactly what I said. To top it off I had a flare up from it don't think it was gluten free.”

  “A "healthy takeaway" is a tricky thing, but dhesi grill gives you a really nice option! This time I visited and ate in, and it was lovely! The mixed grill was by far the nicest ever when it is fresh - something you have to try! Those lamb chops were a dream! The service was warm and helpful with ordering and the seating was comfortable without it being too noisy. The desserts and dhesi tea were the absolute best finisher ever! A total win on every count! Honestly a hidden gem for good takeaway, but even more impressive as a restaurant! Highly highly recommended!”

  “Wouldn’t even give these lot 1 star. Rude and arrogant staff. Placed collection order and bought food home. Chicken Karahi was missing. Rang them back, spoke to this kid Esa who took my order down and several times I repeated myself. Esa was very adamant and kept panicking and saying I didn’t order chicken kharahi. Kid pipe down and stop panicking . Sometimes mistakes are made and they just couldn’t say sorry will make you another one. First Esa said he can get that kharahi delivered and then this manager called Akram then came along telling me to say quiet and kept arguing that I was wrong. So I taught him basic customer service skills and said look if item is missing, just apologise and make them what they want. No arguing. The manager didn’t have any common sense. Like what’s the point of arguing just make me some. Seriously guy stay away. I order samosa chaat and guess what that was frozen when I received it. Not happy. Waste of money. The mixed grill was old. Never returning”
