Customer Review Summary
Lamb chops come up most often, described as tender, with the lamb karahi close behind, called rich and authentically Desi. Reviewers also name the seekh kebabs, liver tikka, chicken pakora, egg lamb biryani, chicken dopiaza and soft, warm naan, and one describes starters arriving with dry ice swirling around them. Service draws steady praise, with several calling their waiters friendly, quick and attentive. The caveats are specific: one diner found the chicken and cheese balls and the chicken cheese seekh kebab short on spice, another says desk service was not memorable and water needed topping up twice, and one notes few mild options. Busy occasions meant a wait, and one suggests coming early. One reviewer breaking their Ramadan fast was offered a complimentary fruit plate with dates and water on sitting down.

“★★★★★ Absolutely breathtaking dining experience International Restaurant was an incredible find from the moment the food started arriving, it was clear this wasn’t going to be an ordinary meal. The presentation alone deserves a mention several dishes came out with dry ice swirling around them, which made for a genuinely theatrical start to the meal. The starters were outstanding crispy samosas, perfectly spiced chicken wings, and tender lamb chops all arranged beautifully on sizzling platters, along with seekh kebabs and spicy loaded fries that disappeared fast. The chicken and cheese topped baked vegetable dish was a standout too, rich and indulgent. For mains, the karahi style curries were rich, fragrant, and clearly made with care, with fresh coriander and lemon adding brightness to every bite. The egg lamb biryani was fluffy and packed with flavour, and the fresh naan breads were soft, warm, and generously sized. The side salads were crisp and refreshing, a great contrast to the richer dishes, and the mint yoghurt dip and raita rounded everything off perfectly. Thank you to shibby for he’s incredible customer service! He deserves a pay rise! Even the drinks got the special treatment the mocktails came beautifully garnished with umbrellas and fresh fruit, a lovely finishing touch. The restaurant’s own motto sums it up perfectly Eating is a necessity, but cooking is an art. This place lives up to that completely. Generous portions, bold flavours, and real theatre in the presentation highly recommend for anyone looking for a proper dining experience rather than just a meal.❤️”

“I don’t usually leave reviews this quickly, but I had to! I was ready to leave a 5-star review after just the papadums—that’s how good the food was. The hospitality was outstanding, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and if the rest of the meal is anything like the start, this place is exceptional. Highly recommend International Restaurant in Bradford! I didn’t even have time to review the lamb chops and Karahi, just the starters had wowed me! Excellent service and customer care.”

“We went went the offers were on, didn't have to wait so long. The service at the desk wasn't too good and not too memorable. Had to ask for the water to be topped twice. The food. The starts are amazing, really fresh and all the right spices. The main are very good and tasty. Really enjoyed the food. The desserts are good.”

“The International is a truly fantastic curry house. Modern, spacious well appointed space serving some of the best traditional style curries around. Attention to detail like discussing with my friend what kind of meal he was looking for and then delivering the outcome he wanted. From the poppadoms, through the delicious freshly prepared seekh kebabs to the Chicken Nawabi Khana everything I had was superb. Definitely highly recommended.”
