  “We went to Vanilla Rooms on Leeds Road yesterday and honestly, it was outstanding from start to finish! The food was incredible — full of flavour, beautifully presented, and served piping hot. The whole place has such a lovely, relaxed yet classy vibe — perfect for any occasion. A massive shoutout to Harry, the manager, who completely made our evening. You could tell he was really busy, but he still managed everything so effortlessly and with a smile. He checked in on every table, made sure everyone was happy, and went above and beyond for us personally. His professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail are second to none — it’s rare to see someone handle a full restaurant with that level of care and calmness. We also have to give a huge mention to Husnayn, whose service towards us was absolutely amazing. He was incredibly attentive throughout our visit and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. He listened to all our requests, catered to our needs without hesitation, and made us feel so comfortable and well looked after. His friendly attitude, patience and attention to detail really stood out, and it was clear that making sure we had a great experience was important to him. It’s not often you find a place that gets everything right — food, service, and atmosphere — but Vanilla Rooms truly does. Harry, Husnayn and the whole team deserve every bit of praise. We’ll definitely be back soon — we honestly can’t recommend it highly enough!”

  “Vanilla Rooms by Akbars. Alhamdulilah something for everyone! Food and service was spot on. However we do miss Belgian chocolate cake with panna cotta ice cream. Food and service was lovely.”

  “Had a lovely meal here with a friend. The restaurant was busy, but not noisy. We were still able to talk easily - and we like to talk a lot! The food was delicious with very generous portions and I had a really nice coffee afterwards. The staff were great, especially our waiter Husnain - very visible but not hovering over the tables and we didn’t feel rushed at any point.”

  “Had a lovely experience at Vanilla Rooms. We were served by Husnayn, he was lovely, patient, and attentive throughout our visit. We weren’t quite sure what to order, but he took the time to explain the options and helped us make our choices without making us feel rushed. The food was absolutely delicious, and the wait wasn’t too long at all roughly 20–25 minutes, which was very reasonable. Everything was fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. The desserts were outstanding and definitely one of the highlights of the visit, the mocktails were also amazing and really added to the overall experience. Overall, the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere made it a fantastic visit, and a big thank you to Husnayn for going above and beyond to make it even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be coming back!”

  “Another great visit to Vanilla Rooms. The chicken schnitzel was spot on, the dynamite prawns were packed with flavour, and the passionfruit & mango mocktail was refreshing without being overly sweet. Good food, fair prices and friendly service. Consistently delivers and easy to recommend. 10/10”

  “We visited Vanilla Rooms by Akbar's to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and overall it turned out to be a truly memorable experience. There was a little hiccup when the birthday dessert was brought out and the birthday song wasn't played as expected. As a mum who wanted everything to be perfect for her daughter, I was a bit upset in the moment and may have had a small diva moment of my own! Looking back, I owe the team a huge apology for my little tantrum. sorry What impressed me most was how the staff handled the situation. They completely turned the atmosphere around and went above and beyond to make sure my daughter felt special and that we left with smiles on our faces. A huge thank you to Harris and Mustafa, who were absolutely brilliant and played a big part in making the celebration so special. Their professionalism, kindness, and effort did not go unnoticed. As always, the desserts were on point—beautifully presented, delicious, and worth every bite. Despite the initial hiccup, we left happy and grateful, and that's what really matters. Thank you once again to Harris and Mustafa for making my daughter's birthday one to remember. We will definitely be back again!”

  “We visited Vanilla Rooms as a family of 7, and as always, the food did not disappoint. Every dish was full of flavour and absolutely delicious — definitely one of the reasons we keep coming back. However, the service on this visit was quite slow. The waiters seemed stretched, and it felt like they could have really used an extra staff member to keep things running smoothly. There was also a noticeable delay in the food coming out. That being said, Alhamdulillah, when the food finally arrived, it was well worth the wait — fresh, tasty, and beautifully done. Overall, still a great place for food, but service could definitely be improved, especially during busy times.”

  “We had such a beautiful experience at Vanilla Restaurant while celebrating my daughters birthday. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and perfectly set for a special occasion. The staff were absolutely amazing—so friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us, which made the celebration even more memorable. The service was smooth, professional, and full of smiles. The food was delicious, well-presented, and full of flavour. Every dish we tried was spot on, and you can tell they really take pride in what they do. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and we’re so grateful to the team for making Haddy’s birthday so special. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and outstanding service!”

  “Really tasty and yummy food. We had the meat lasagne with spicy chips which is always a cheese fest. The chicken arrabiata which is spicy and flavourful alongside the cheesy garlic bread. It's really tasty and a casual dining place where the food always hits.”
