Customer Review Summary
Chicken biryani is the dish reviewers name most, praised alongside pakoras and meat kebab by diners who describe generous portions and a fresh, homemade feel. Close behind are the curries, with aloo gosht, chana curry, chicken masala, keema curry and chicken butter karahi all called spot on. The samosa chaat, a halwa dessert and tava roti also draw praise. Several point to reasonable, even unbeatable pricing, and to friendly, welcoming staff, with one describing the owner as attentive and the service as quick. The praise is not unanimous. One reviewer says the service still has room to improve, another found the food lacking in taste, and a third did not get fresh food. One of the two disappointed reviewers ordered samosa chaat and was sent chana chaat instead.

“Tried the keema curry and chicken butter karahi, and the flavours were spot on—easily rivaling Akbar’s next door 😉. It’s genuinely amazing home-style cooking, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone, even if the service still has a bit of room to improve.”

“Was supposed to do this review a couple of weeks back, would just like to say been here twice now since it opened and both times lads behind the counter are a delight, went for the aloo gosht and samosa chaat which were both absolutely spot on. Food was fresh and had that authentic home cooked feel like it was made with pure love an dedication, I also wanted to try the chana curry and I did end up doing so, again absolutely spot on, the second visit I tried the chicken masala, and the chicken and spinach curry, also got a dessert it was halwa, hope I spelt that right, and again food was absolutely spot on, for price value, overall quality of food and customer service these guys are up there gotta be a 9 out of 10 for me simply because of the quality you receive and the price, I highly recommend this place I'm a food connoisseur and it's up there for me, wish I had taken photos of the food, I will do next time and add them to this review.”
