Customer Review Summary

Diners most often single out the halloumi and avocado smash bagel as a standout, with several praising the fresh, well-made food and the clean, pleasant atmosphere. Afternoon tea for large groups and birthday celebrations earn repeated mention for generous, delicious spreads and thoughtful service, including a free slice of cake as a birthday treat. The cappuccino is frequently noted, though one reviewer found it lukewarm and another wished for skimmed milk. A recurring complaint centers on the tuna melt toasty, described by one diner as barely toasted with a scraping of filling, while another received a seeded baguette instead of the ordered toasty. Sticky tables and missing paper towels in the toilets are also cited. One reviewer reports an afternoon tea for 34 people that was handled smoothly and well.

Visited for lunch with my sister on Friday 15th May. I had Avocado and poached eggs on toast. The Avocado was not ripe, the toast was barely toasted, the poached eggs were ok. I would have liked skimmed milk for my cappuccino, but only semi-skimmed available. Service was extremely slow, despite it not being busy. Cappuccino was not hot and food wasn't either. There appeared to be only what lot of salt and pepper between all the tables. Very disappointing.

Lovely visit to Thyme. The food was really good, everything tasted fresh and well made. The place was very clean, the music was great and created a really nice atmosphere. A really enjoyable spot and I’d happily visit again with the dogs.

How this listing is sourced

Where the data comes from
Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
How it stays current
Listings are re-checked in batches against their public profile, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
How it is ranked
Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
