Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return mostly for the breakfast, with the full English and breakfast barms named most often, and a vegetarian breakfast with veggie sausages also gets praise. A BLT, a homemade cheese pie from the specials board and fried bread come up too, and the cappuccino and latte are called good and made as asked. Diners describe the food as freshly cooked, hot and generous in portion, and several say prices are cheap, with a group of three and a couple both reporting small bills for full meals. The staff and owners are the other consistent theme: reviewers call them friendly, chatty and patient, including with a talkative young child, and one says they swapped two unwanted breakfast items for extra sausage. Many describe the cafe as clean and cosy, and one likes the clear view into the kitchen. No recurring complaint appears, though one reviewer on a busy day was told a couple of items had run out, and the server apologised. A regular cyclist stops in weekly just to have a natter with the staff.

“We popped into this cafe yesterday with the lads and even though it was really busy, it was a great experience. The service was spot on, especially from the woman serving us who I’m guessing is the owner - she was super friendly, really attentive, and made us feel welcome straight away. She apologised when she told us a couple of things were off the menu because they’d run out, which was no issue at all and handled really nicely. Despite how hectic it was, she stayed polite, upbeat, and on top of everything. Definitely a place I’d go back to. Very reasonably priced as well. 3 of us didn’t break £20.”
